Chapter 1: Festival
The night made its way to introduce an another day. Sun is about to rise from its cave along with the special occasion marked on its rays. On a comfortable bed, a man is savouring his freedom from his duty, loud and continuous snoring proves it all. As the sun's beam starts to enter his window, slowly reaches out for his eyes to open it from deep slumber. Sanders scratched his tummy as he groaned for being bothered with his sleep. He shielded his eyes with his right hand as he turned around, avoiding the call of the day. He closed his eyes and blinked hard a few times, hoping to go back to his dreams. Unfortunately, his mind was already awake but his body isn't ready yet to hop off the bed. Sanders heard muffled noises outside his room. People are chattering and laughing, full of enthusiasm. It is kind of unusual for the townspeople to be this loud in the morning. Sanders wondered what is the commotion about. He pulled up his back from the bed. While sitting, he arched his back and stretched his arms as high as he could. Letting out a little moan trying to wake himself up. He sighed as he dropped his hands to his lap, and lead his eyes through the window. He tilted his head out of curiosity. Calmly leaving the bed, he walks towards the window and opened it, making the noises clearer. Sanders looked down and observed the creatures below. Flashy clothings, colorful hats that compliments each of these creatures' appearances. Preparing a cart filled with flowers and other decorating materials while wearing beautiful smiles. Everyone's seems to be blooming and busy today. The people noticed him sightseeing from his tower. They greeted him with a warm smile on their faces.
"Good morning, Mr. Sanders!" a young lady greeted as she waves her hands.
"Heya, leader! How's your sleep?!" a man followed.
"Hi! Good morning!" a woman chimed.
The townspeople greeted the confused leader one after another. Sanders just smiled back and waved both of his hands enthusiastically.
"Good morning my lovely people! I'm good! You are all quite energetic today, aren't you?" the leader asked.
"Of course, sir! It's the day!" the young woman replied.
"Right?! I can't wait for an another day full of memories!" the man yelled of excitement.
Everyone clamored and expressed their excitement in many ways. Some people jumped, some danced and others clapped their hands. Sanders raised an eyebrow while his eyes were widened. All these reactions made him just even more curious. He pulled out a crooked smile and pretended he knows what's going on.
"Alright! Alright. I know you are all excited but you all need to calm down for now." Sanders informing his people as he shows both of his palms, signalling them to slowdown.
The creatures held their excitement back yet still can be seen happy about it. Sanders finally escaping the situation with a friendly reminder.
"Keep yourself busy and have a safe morning! I'll see you later!" Sanders waved his hand and shut his window down. For a moment, Sanders went silent and immediately sat on the floor, leaning against the wall. He slapped both of his hands against his cheeks. Darting his eyes back and forth, trying to remember what is so important in this day.
"What is going on?! Have I forgotten something today?! God, this is so embarrassing!" he closed his eyes and tapping his cheeks repeatedly.

Despite being a powerful being, he is quite dense most of the times. Sanders hurried reaching out for his calendar. He slipped and his face hit the floor hard enough to make his nose bleed. He groaned while trying to wipe the blood underneath his nose. He covered it with his left hand, preventing the blood to drip off. He continued walking towards the wall where his calendar was hanged. Raising his other hand and pointed out to each dates. He come across on a date encircled by a red marker with a note in it. Finally coming to his full senses, Sanders' eyes widened and realized how big the day is. He stepped backwards a little. Slowly removing his hand from his nose. A smile suddenly widened on his face. His eyes sparkled with excitement. Sanders jumped out of joy. He spread out his arms in the air as he jumps continuously, screaming from the top of his lungs.
"Oh my god, how can I forget this?! It's today! The festival, that's right! Now I understand why everyone is behaving so crazy. It's the foundation day! The time I built this place for my people and myself!" yelled by the man.
Sanders put down his hands. He bowed his head with a little smile on his face, placed his hands on his chest, closed his eyes, and reminisced about the past.
"How silly of me to forget such an important day. Sandertown... I'm not really good at naming names but.. this town has a special place in my heart." he mumbled in a mellow tone.
Seizing the nostalgic moment, Sanders can't help but to get a little emotional. Little tears came out from his eyes and caressed his cheeks. He lifted his head and stared at the ceiling, taking a deep breath. He let out a big sigh and remained smiling. His eyes were glistening with the help of his tears. Mixed emotions stirred up in his heart, a bittersweet feeling.
"It's been a long time...I never knew I was capable of leading these people, even just a few of them. I wonder what would you think about this, Lady Sol?" he cried. Sanders wiped his tears and reassured himself. "I am doing my best to be a good leader... I am not gonna screw up...again." he followed.

"And," he paused. Sanders turned around to see the painting on the wall near his bed. It is an emblem that depicts a crescent moon with three rays around its side like the sun's. A symbol that he holds dearly from his past till the present day. Something that represents the place he came from and the Goddess he admired. "And.. continue teaching them all the things I've learned from you." he continued.
Sanders then, hopped away from his bedroom. He opened the door full of energy. "Now let's make this festival memorable in the entire universe!" A loud slam echoes inside the room.
