Edward and Virgie had been in the car for over an hour. Edward didn't come to see Virgie cry. He came because he wanted to know why Virgie had dinner with her father. And he was worried. Roy didn't usually interfere with her affairs.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have cried around you," Virgie said.
"I know. You're fragile. You can cry," Edward replied.
A strange feeling slipped between the two. Being with Edward always made Virgie unable to contain herself. Even though they clearly had a conflict, it was difficult for the two of them to make up.
"I want to know what happened to Alphonse. Tell me," Virgie pleaded.
"He was looking at something in the direction of your car. He didn't do anything, but I suspect he knows something," Edward replied.
