- Earth and everything that habitats it has been created out of a single mind. The trees, animals, the sky, the water, all that lived and moves serves a purpose.

Humans tend to blame the Devil for their evil intentions, but they forget something really important...

When the first human pair has been created, God made them equals. Adam and Lilith, although, Adam wanted to lead the two of them and Lilith didn't surrender to him.

And disobedience was punished. God did not take kindly to Lilith's rebellion and banished her from paradise. A new feeling was stirring in Lilith's soul. A lonely and cruel feeling that overcame her mind was disappointment. And disappointment gave birth to anger, and anger gave birth to hatred.

- So... The devil is not the bad guy? - Lotti asked and Jophiel smiled sweetly.

- As I said, we all serve a purpose, the Devil's is to punish those who dare to hurt others anyway. - that moment Henry stood up and walked to Lotti. He hugged her and said.

- I'm sorry that I teased you because of your dancing. - Lotti looked at Sarah confused and she just nodded. Lotti hugged Henry as well and the boy sat next to her listening to Jophiel's story. Jophiel smiled as she noticed Brendon standing against the doorframe listening to her stories as well and she remembered.

“The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride.”

A young woman, with curly black hair and brown skin, ran as fast as she could at the snowstorm to get away from the angry crowd. She tried to pull her coat together to prevent the icy cold wind from hurting the child she held in her arms. She heard footsteps approaching and with all her strength she ran faster and faster until she arrived to an orphanage. She started hitting the door with her empty hand until a beautiful woman in her late twenties opened the door. Their eyes met and the blonde stepped aside letting her in. The lady closed the door before the crowd could've noticed their prey. Once the door closed and the crowd disappeared the young girl only then dared to take a breath. She looked at her savior and her eyes filled with tears. - Thank you! Thank you so much! - she said. - Please, don't thank me. What happened to you? - Jophiel asked and the girl wiped her tears off. The baby in her arms started to cry and Jophiel's eyes widened. - We must warm you up, follow me. - the girl got up and hurried after Jophiel. She looked around with her jaw dropped. The orphanage looked like a fully renovated castle. Chandeliers, thick carpest, new windows and painting everywhere. Jophiel lead her to a bathroom and said. - Get a warm bath, one of the girls will bring you clean and warm clothes. I'll take care of your child in the meantime. - she looked troubled at Jophiel. - He is a special boy. - she said carefully and gave her child to Jophiel. - My name is Ashley, we run this orphanage with my husband. He will be home soon as well. Please, warm yourself up and don't worry for this handsome fella. - His name is Damon. - Jophiel's eyebrows ran up but she smiled and the cooing baby. His eyes were silver, similar to Faith's and his hair black as Michael's. - What is yours? - Jophiel asked and the girl blushed. Her eyes were silves just like her child's but the baby had a lot lighter skin then her, although their features were very similar. - Meredith. - Jophiel smiled encouragingly at her. - Nice to meet you both. - Meredith went to wash up and Jophiel walked with the baby to the nursery to change him, bath him and give him new clothes. The poor child was really thin and cold. He started to cry and Jophiel caressed his little head. - Don't be afraid of me, I'll take care of you. - she said in a calming voice and started to sing to Damon. The main door opened and Brendon arrived. - Love! I'm home! - Jophiel peaked put of the nursery and showed him to stay quiet. Brendon mouthed "Sorry" and took off his coat and shoes. He got into his slippers and went to check on the kids. They all slept peacefully and sound. He checked the fire in the rooms to avoid any of them catching a cold. Brendon walked into the nursery next and hugged Jophiel from behind. - Hey. - he said kissing her neck. - Hi! - Jophie turned her face towards Brendon and they shared a kiss. Brendon only after that noticed the now clean and wrapped up Damon. - Love, would you like to tell me something? - he asked and Jophie chuckled. - He and his mother arrived about half an hour ago. They have been chased by an angry crowd. - Brendon caressed the baby's face and when he looked at him a shiver ran down his spine. - This child is not an ordinary one. - he said and Jophiel shook her head. - He is a young warlock. - she said. - How did you know? - Meredith asked from the door of the nursery carefully. Brendon and Jophiel turned to her and before she answered they shared a look. - I'm an angel sweety. - Meredith gasped and Brendon noticed her moving towards her child with worry. Jophiel noticed as well and handed Damon back to his mother. - He is all warm and cozy, but very thin. - Meredith hugged her son to her chest. - Thank you. - she mumbled. - You saved us despite of what we are. - she said and Brendon walked to Meredith. - My name is Brendon, I'm Ashley's husband.-they shook hands and Brendon insisted to make a warm cup of tea for everyone. They walked to the spacious, cottage style kitchen and Meredith sat down with her son at the table. Jophiel sat across the table and looked at Damon with yearning in her eyes. - He is a gorgeous baby. - she said softly. - Thank you. - Meredith, you don't have to be afraid of Ashley. She is unique. - Brendon said. - You know quiet a lot, considering that you are a human. - she said and Jophiel chuckled. - He didn't have a choice but get prepared and his senses to supernatural creatures now are really good. - Brendon walked them with the mugs and put them down the table. - That's right! I can tell if the other person see across the street is good or bad. - as soon as he said this a figure started to form on the empty chair. Meredith got up and hugged Damon to her chest protecting her child. The figure soon materialized. - Michael! - Jophiel said with her jaw dropped - Christmas miracle! - he said. Suddenly he noticed Meredith and the baby. His eyes widened and he got up walking towards them. Meredith started to murmur a spell but Michael shook his head. - Don't waste your energy on this. Your child is dying. - he said and Meredith gasped. She looked at Jophiel, got on her knees begging her. - Please! Please! Save my child! - Jophiel's heart almost broke. - I can't, I have no power to do that. - her eyes landed at Michael who also stood there sadly. - You are angels and none of you can help?! - Meredith asked and she was already crying, Damon stopped breathing and Meredith screamed in pain. Someone suddenly knocked on the door and Michael opened it. His eyes met with the familiar blue glance. - Please get out of my way. - Dianne said and she hurried to the baby. Jophiel and Brendon greeted her with a nod and she kneeled next to Meredith. - Please give him to me. - she said and Meredith held her dead son closer. - Meredith, she can help. - Jophiel said and Meredith hang on that last hope. She handed Damon to Dianne and a white light covered the baby. Soon he cried loudly and Meredith gasped for air. Dianne handed Damon to her and said. - He will be a very strong warlock. Take good care of him. - Meredith caught Dianne's coat while she headed towards the door. - Who are you? - she asked and Dianne smiled. - My name is Dianne, pray to me in case of any danger. I'll be there. Good night everyone. - she bid farewell and Michael escorted her to the door. - How is this possible?-he asked and Dianne, who remained with the same appearance as Michael first met her smiled at the happy little family behind Michael. - It is Christmas, and at this time of the year. Miracles are bound to happen. - Michael kissed the back of Dianne's hand and asked. - Why don't you stay? - There are many places to be for me tonight. I just stoped by. Merry Christmas, Michael. - she walked away and Michael looked after her woth dreamy eyes while he murmured into the cold winter night. - Merry Christmas, Dianne.
