Chapter 17

Athena's POV

Way to go little buddy you just embarrassed us in front of Esty. I mentally scolded.

At least she didn't scream or look disgusted if anything I think she wanted to touch me.

I felt my member twitch at that thought.

Shaking my head I took some black sweatpants and a white tee and went back to eat.

I found Esty lying on the bed,her tank top rode above her waist exposing her toned stomach and tiny waist,her legs hanged loosely to the floor.

She was still in a daze,I know I was.

Being so close to her had my heart throbbing. I was this close to closing the distance between our lips.

I know she can feel the sparks I feel when we touch but she's still hang up on the,"I'm straight" phase.

She'll come around I know she will. When she does I'm never letting her go no matter what happens.

I'll treasure her like the sapphire she is. I know I like Esty a lot....no scratch that....I love Esty.

I've always loved her since we were kids and I'm not going to stop even death won't stop me. I'll still love her even then.

I took my breakfast and sat on the couch and ate.

She still hadn't noticed me, what's she thinking about?

I finished eating and cleared my throat loud enough for her to hear

She sat up startled and looked around.

"How'd you eat so fast?"she asked confusion lacing her.

"I didn't eat fast you were just in your won world to hear me,"I chuckled.

"Oh" she smiled.

"What do you wanna do today?"I asked.

"Uh...uh...I don't know anything I guess,we could watch a movie or something,"she mumbled adorably.

"How about I take you around Delta?"

"That sounds good let me just change"she smiled.

"Great let me call the driver and we could leave,"

"Are you not changing into something else?"she questioned.

"No..I'm comfortable"I chuckled.

She went and came back in some beige tights and a black crop top that read "THEY BIG"

I raised my eyebrows at that and she just just laughed,"It's only some writing Athy"

"You sure that ain't true,"I teased.

Of course it was true,she had a nice set of perky breasts.

"Perv"

I'm no perv just appreciating her beauty.

"Yeah right appreciating"

Seriously I'm only stating a fact.

She blushed her eyes fixated on the floor.

"Since when is the floor more interesting than this gorgeous body"I smirked pointing at myself.

"Cocky much"she shyly said.

"It's not being cocky if it's true,"I raised my eyebrows.

She hit me playfully and I faked being hurt clutching my arm.

"Ouch how could you,"I whined.

"Oh please like a slap in the arm could hurt you,"Esty rolled her eyes playfully.

I laughed and held my hand for her to take.

"Let's get going your majesty,"I bowed.

"Ugh Athy stop,"she threw her head back in laughter.

We took the the elevator to the first floor and outside to where the car was parked.

I plan on taking her to nothing fancy,just the circus,because she told me she's always wanted to go to one,we have none back in town. Then later I can take her to The Hirolik Delta Tower. The highest tower in Delta and also an attractive site

I had already instructed the driver where we were going for the day.

"Ma'am we're here,"I heard the driver say.

"Out we go pretty lady,"I opened the door for her and held my palms out for her.

"Why thank you kind lady,"she laughed.

What I would give to have her laugh like that everyday.

"Where are we?"she questioned seeing the huge tent in front of us.

"You'll see,"I smirked.

"I better like it"she quipped.

"Trust me you will"I said leading her into the tent.

"No you didn't Athy,"she gasped when she saw it.

"Yes I did"

She did the most unexpected thing I was so shocked.

She jumped up and flung herself on me in a tight hug.

Getting over my shock I wrapped my arms around her tiny waist and engulfed in that heart warming hug.

I could feel my heart beating and so was hers

This is the first time she's ever hugged me. It's an understatement to say I liked it. What I felt that moment was beyond this world.

She rested her chin on my shoulders and sighed her hot breath causing the hair in my neck to stand.

What she does to me.......ahhh.....

"Thank you so much Athy,"she whispered.

"You're welcome Esty,"I said and kissed the top of her head. Perks of being the tall one.

İ let her go and she turned to the circus.

"Shall we find a place to sit my lady,"I smiled.

"Let's shall"she grinned.

We laughed at ourselves and went to take a seat.

The show was almost starting and I wanted her to watch everything.

When it started you could see how excited she was,her eyes lit up with so much adoration it was just so beautiful.

"Athy look at that elephant balance on that ball,"she squealed like a three year old.

People turned to look at us but she didn't mind them and kept cheering on. Neither did I was just happy that she was happy.

"Oh my gosh he's juggling twenty eggs,"she went on and on pointing out everything.

After an hour the show was over but her excitement wasn't.

"Did you see him?Did you?I wouldn't try that,eggs would break all over me"she chirped.

"I'm glad you had fun Esty,"I smiled.

"Are you kidding that's the most fun I've had in forever"she chuckled.

"Well am glad I was there to see you having fun."

"Thank you Athy,"Esty smiled.

"You're welcome Esty,I hope you're not too tired it's late but I want to take you somewhere,"I said.

"Am a little bit tired but sure let's go,"she said.

"Where are we going?"

"You're gonna find out in a few"

The drive to the tower wasn't long because we were in Middletown.

Twenty minutes later we arrived at the tower.

"Here we are Athy, our last destination for today,"I mimicked tour guides.

"I'll be your your guide for today pretty Miss,"I smiled.

"Oh you,"she pushed me playfully.

"We're going inside,I hope you're not scared of heights?" I asked.

I wouldn't want to put her in danger at all.

"No I'm not,"she said and took my arms in hers this time without me initiating.

"Well then up we go,"I led her to the elevator all the way to the rooftop.

Not everyone in the city has access to the rooftop. I had to book it for tonight and it wasn't easy for them to let me until I offered them an amount they couldn't turn down.

I know I know but it's all for a good course. Am spending it on Esty.

Ding!Sounded the elevator door and we stepped out.

I had them arrange a little dinner for us. Nothing special just some chicken parmesan for her and pasta and salad for me. Some wine to finish with.

I heard her gasp," Athy....how?"

"Don't worry about that how about we have dinner,"I smiled.

I pulled her seat for her before I took mine.

"Go ahead and eat," I said when she wasn't touching anything.

The clutter of plate,fork and spoon could be heard around us along the night breeze.

"Thank you so much for everything Athy,"I heard Athy thank me for the hundrieth time.

"Don't mention it Esty I wanted to do this"

She stared at me before saying,"What are you doing to me Athy?"

"Nothing really,you have no idea what you do to me"

We stared at each other no words could be spoken to explain what we felt at the moment.

Our eyes held too much information,while mine held love hers held doubt

She must think I want nothing to do with her or maybe using her but that was far from it.

I want to make her mine so bad. I'd love proving to her everyday she deserves all the love in the universe.

"It's a beautiful night,"she said staring at the city.

"Truly is,"I replied staring at her.

"I'm talking about you,"I added.

She glanced at me get eyes shimmering under the light from the moon.

If it wasn't a bit dark I would have been able to see her blush.

Having done eating I motioned for her to follow me.

Pointing at the sky I asked,"Do you see those stars on the eastern side,those aligned almost in a straight line?"

She followed her hand and saw the stars I was referring to.

"Yes?"What about them?"

"At 3 am they move about and form The Reely Constellation . My grandma used to tell me about a girl who sacrificed herself for her lover's sake. Her lover was sick of sickle cell.

She was really poor and couldn't afford medical expense.

She prayed but nothing happened so she decided to consult the Greek gods...she asked if they could take her life in place of a sacrifice and they heal her lover. Her lover was healed and she died,when her spirit was rising to heaven they reached the sky and she turned into stars and formed the constellation to watch over her lover. Her name was Reely hence The Reely Constellation"

"Wow that's a beautiful story,"Esty said turning to face me.

Everything around us stopped when our eyes met. Her eyes were shining in the beautiful night. Her lips were slightly parted.

I glanced between her eyes and her lips and saw her do the same. She licked her lips and my breath hitched.

I could feel my heart banging against it's ribcage.

"Athy....."she whispered her hot breath hitting me in the face.

I didn't say anything but stare at her.

I have no clue what happened but we were both leaning towards each other.

This was it finally I'll be able to taste her luscious lips.

My lips hovered above hers,barely before they touched my phone rang startling both of us.

We jumped apart so fast our foreheads collided hard.

"Ow!"Esty groaned

"I'm so sorry let me pick this up,"I said fishing my phone out.

"What?"I barked annoyed without checking the ID of the caller.

"That's no way to speak to your ex A"I heard the most annoying voice ever,Alyssa's.

"What do you want Alyssa you just interrupted me in the middle of something important,"I said and looked at Esty to see her looking away shyly.

"Can't I call to see how you're doing A?"

"Oh please just say what you want don't waste my time,"I hissed.

"Okay fine I need some money."
