Am I crazy or am I crazy?

Pearl can’t help but think to herself. She was doing just fine. So what was it on earth, or the universe, made her pull her own cover?

Zach materializes from a wide portal. Like a cloud. When they lock gazes, she turns the opposite way.

School can wait.

The young girl tells herself. But school can’t wait. She’s literally missing out all because he’s there.

How ridiculous.

But her reason’s valid. In a sense. She doesn’t want to see him. She doesn’t want to hear him out. Didn’t she make herself clear when she told him to go away?

So why the heck is he still here?

“Sora.”

Not that name. No one’s allowed to call her by that name. Not unless it was her parents, or in some occasion, Stell.

She ignores him, pretending it was the sound of wind.

Zach fastens just pace to reach her. “Can you just stop and talk to me?” He steps in front of her, basically blocking the path. Pearl circles around him, causing the Cupid to roll his eyes in annoyance.

“You can’t keep ignoring me you know. Sooner or later you’re gonna have to face me.”

“We’ll just see about that.” Maybe if she pretends to go this way, he’ll disappear.
