“Remind me again why you’re trying so hard to communicate with her?”
It’s been a couple of hours since he’s last seen her. Harper leans against a wall, keeping a questionable gaze towards Zach. The latter’ son the other side of the hall located on the third floor of the building. The girls classroom’s located on the fourth floor.
“She still isn’t cooperating.”
“Something tells me there more to that. You’re hiding something aren’t you?”
“You’re talking nonsense.” Zach pokes the inside of his cheek as muttered lectures fill the empty hallway. In a few minutes, they’ll be dismissed from class.
“I may not be around you always but I see the way you look at her.”
He remains quiet.
“Just make sure you don’t do something that can cause you a lot of trouble. Her seeing you is already trouble enough. I got to go. Class ends in a few minutes. Are you gonna stay behind and wait for her or?”
“I’ll catch up in bit.”
“My suggestion is that you go get some rest in the mean time.”
That being said, Harper turns his heel and leaves.
