Zach watches her from a distance. But it’s different now. The second she gets out of school, he’ll make himself come to her.

Pearl eventually steps out of the building together with Vaeri, who suddenly stops to look at pearl in confusion.

“Why’d you stop?”

“Let’s go the other way around.”

She mumbles in a low tune as she holds gazes with the Cupid in front of them. Zach had walked on them and basically blocked their path. A shiver slithers down Vaeri’s spine.

A look of realization dawns at her and she links her arm around Pearl, getting ready to do as she had said.

“I feel like drinking some bubble tea at the moment.” Utters Vaeri as she gradually turns the both of them to the other side of the road.

“You can’t keep ignoring me Sora.” Says Zach as he narrows the lines of his eyes.

“Sounds like a plan.” She’s totally ignoring him. Vaeri’s eyes sparkle as she drags Pearl to the other side of the path, making a grinning face. Zach rolls his eyes just as Harper comes strolling from inside the building of the school.
