They parted ways after that. And Zach took that opportunity to confront her. When he awake the not so many people were around to see anything, he fasten his pace and stops right in front of her. Pearl ‘s feet comes to a halt when he shows himself. Her head automatically comes around looking around, as if to spot if there was anyone looking. But there obviously wasn’t . She had entered an alleyway which was empty at the moment. And to top it all of, it was getting dark too.
“Why won’t you talk to me uh?”
“Why won’t you just leave me?” She asks right away without missing a beat. Zach’s eyes remains narrowed and firm. He’s unfazed but the question.
“You know exactly why I can’t leave you alone Sora.”
“Why? Because you still want to tie me up with Stell? Sorry to break your bubble but I don’t think that’ll happen anytime soon. You’ve seen it yourself haven’t you? Nothing works on me. Those little trinkets or substances or whatever are useless.”
He remains quiet. A minute goes by. And when Pearl realizes that he has nothing to say, she walks past him and disappears into the Night.
