Maybe showing him that she could see him was a bad ideas. She was starting to realize that now.

Back there, she couldn’t hold herself anymore.

She really tried to pretending nothing had happened. But it was too difficult. The amount of times she struggled not to glance his way. Whenever he talked, she wanted to answer back. He gave ugly remarks but there was also that caring sized of him.

Zach was captivating.

And now he knows.

“You’re stupid.” She had fallen for him. And it was that very feeling that drove her to reveal her little secret. He has his suspicion, as far as she could tell.

A nearby cafe is where she decides to make a quick stop. Glancing behind, he’s not anywhere to be seen. Hopefully, he’ll do what she says. It’s better to end it right here and now.

Meanwhile, Zach finds Harper on the roof top staring into the horizon. He goes to stand beside him, eyes furrowed and thinking.

“What happened this time.”

“Crap.”

“I gave Vaeri a piece of my mind a while earlier. Turns out, she can’t hear me. All that energy wasted for nothing.”
