CHAPTER 20 – WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS
By Friday, the kids had stopped complaining about going to kindergarten. Victor had already resigned himself to loud mornings by then, though. He hadn’t thought there was any way to get them out of the house in the morning without them taking a lot of potshots at their mother.
On Wednesday, he had decided that he would drive the children to the kindergarten alone. They didn’t dare to be so vocal with him, and at least, that ensured that he had some peace and quiet. He had assumed the drive duty ever since and hadn’t regretted once.
On Friday, driving back home after he had left them at the kindergarten, Victor thought of calling Leah or Axel and find out what was going on with the case.
