Drifted Away

Prologue- Childhood Life

It's Monday morning, everyone are very busy especially the students because it's their first day in school. Eight year old Phevy Martinelli was late in school due to some traffic along the way. When she arrived at school, she rushed her way to the classroom and was relieved when the teacher has not yet arrived.

She was warmly welcomed by her old classmates, Tricia Corpus and Divine Pierce. Then she took a seat beside Tricia and waited for the teacher to arrive.

After class she played with her friends and had great fun. While eating, they share to eachother their experiences the whole vacation.

"I went to Boracay, it's in the Philippines. And the sand there was so white. I had a great time there," Tricia shared her story with excitement,"how about you Faye?" she asked.

"Nahhh! I stayed home all summer. Maybe we will be having a vacation next summer." She said lazily while drinking her pineapple juice.

"Well, we all had a great summer, right?" Jacynth interrupted.

They all nodded and everybody started to eat their packed lunch.

"I wish Jadi and Nicole are here." Phevy sighed with sadness in her eyes.

"Ahmmmm! Someone missed Jadi!" Vincent laughed and took a glance at Phevy teasing her.

"No! I-i missed the both of them... duhhh! She said trying not to be caught by what she is feeling. She immediately finished her food and left." Gonna go guys....Bye!"

Travis Anderson "Jadi" is Phevy's bestfriend that moved to another school because of his parents work. Phevy even had a crush on him but she can't tell him because she was too shy to have the courage to say it to him.

Many months later they will be graduating on 2nd grade and most of them are super excited. But one day, when Phevy entered the classroom, she brought some bad news.

"Everyone I have something to say," Her voice was shaking,"I a-am t-transf-fering to a-another s-school because my day was assigned in that place t-to work." Then she burst into tears.

All of her classmates hugged her and comforted her, telling her that everything will be alright.

It's been almost four years since Phevy moved to another school. One night, Phevy heard her parents talking after she'd gone to bed. She couldn't hear what they were talking but it sounded serious. She didn't mind because maybe it's about her father's work so, she went to bed and sleep.

The next day while eating breakfast her parents talked to her.

"Honey, we have a surprise for you,"her mom said,"we all know that your really wanted to go back to Eagle Crest. The good news is..... We are moving back to Eagle Crest so that means you will be enrolled back their at your old school."

"Really? Are you serious? Hurray!!!" She screamed with delight.

"Yes we are moving back, so make sure to pack all of your things because we will be moving as soon as possible." her dad said.

After five days they moved back to Eagle Crest. Phevy was enrolled at her old school and graduated there. Then she spent her highschool years in a boarding school away from home.
