Chapter 11 I head off down the road to get another $2.50 coffee. As I’m stepping into Café Yellow I remember I have not got any lunch. I always have excellent resolutions about bringing something from home. Now I think about it, I could have brought some of last night’s Pad Thai. I was in such a rush this morning I didn’t think about lunch. I back out of Café Yellow before Jono sees me and cross the road to the sushi place. Carmen from a dress shop further down the strip is on a stool at the window bar, eating very delicately with chopsticks. ‘Hi.
