Chapter 21
I have a call from Michael, a landlord I like. He is very easy, chatty and friendly and usually everything in his world ticks over smoothly. It is the owners’ corporation that has upset him.
‘Did you read that document you sent me from the owners corp?’ he asks. He’s referring to a letter they sent about an owner in the complex wanting to put his split-system condenser on the front of the building. For that owner it probably makes sense. His unit is in the front left hand corner and I assume he wants to attach the outside condenser as close as he can to the inside reverse cycle unit. This means on the front of the building.
Michael went on. ‘They are writing asking if anyone objects. Do you remember when I put my reverse cycle in a couple of years ago I got clear instructions
