Does this revelation about a damned prophecy bother me? Sure, a little bit. However, what I think Maddix is overlooking is the fact that Gran gave us a way around it.
To me, a prophecy is just a future guess, even if everyone in the world argues with me that it isn't. My family is too superstitious, and it can get annoying.
