"Well, that wasn't the call I was expecting," I said to Kenneth. We have been at the new location for roughly 2 weeks now, and things are definitely moving along.
Kenneth didn't reply, but gave me a curious look. "My sister, Alette, is having trouble with hunters at the Fae Kingdom. She needs assistance, so we are heading up to Troutdale later this evening. Do you want to join us? If not, it's alright, I could use someone I trust to stay behind and keep an eye on things," I told him.
He said he would rather stay behind, because he wasn't sure how to handle hunters. He didn't want to be a liability, so I told him I understood and would see him when I got back.
