My brother had just left, and I chose not to tell him about my mate. Not yet any way. I know he would have wanted to stay and meet him, and all his plans would have been put on hold. Including picking up Caleb's sister.
I do want to speak to Addie and Gunner about him as soon as possible though.
Last night when I went to the kitchen, I wasn't expecting anyone to be there. Especially as late as it was. However, that wasn't the case and I walked in on an extremely tall warrior, with his blonde hair meticulously placed in a man's bun, and smelling of sage and strawberries. He was making him a late night snack, and just happened to be right where I needed him to be.
