*ALETTE POV*
The pain was only getting worse, and my mom was taking her sweet time getting me to the hospital.
"Mom, why are you dragging your ass? I am going to walk myself there if we don't leave this house right the hell now!" I sneered. She was more worried about me being cleaned up than she was about the emergency.
"Alette Lily! Don't cuss at me like that! You will be fine! I promise you," she yelled back. I sat with a sigh, and apologized to her. It wasn't her fault this was happening, but I just wanted her to feel some kind of urgency for me.
"Mom, I'm sorry. I'm just scared to death right now. Can we please go? Dr. Campbell is waiting for us," I sighed.
