I don't know why I was finding so much enjoyment in Alpha Alessio's obvious disgust of Maddix and Maggie taking charge until Sterling turned 16.
When Maddix came in and announced what they had decided, I thought the Supreme Alpha was going to lose his lunch. I'm about 100% certain that he thought Maddix would just let him take care of things until Sterling ascended, but in the same turn, if he knew anything about Maddix, he wouldn't have thought that in the first place.
"Is there something wrong, Alpha Alessio?" Maddix asked. Alessio put on his fake smile and replied, "No, no. Everything is amazing. I'm happy you have made this decision."
