Priestess Bella was reading through Grace's paperwork off and on the whole lunch meal. She had handed them back to Alette, and started to question Alette and Damian's dedication to their daughter.
I could tell Damian was not a happy camper listening to her question his integrity and loyalty to his daughter. I wasn't either, to be honest. Anyone who knew Damian knew what kind of man and father he was. I'm not just saying this because he is also one of my best friends, but I would trust him with anyone I cared about in life.
I know that I could leave my children in a sketchy situation, and they would be 10000000000% safe if Damian was with them. There are very few people I can say that about with complete certainty.
