I realize I just pissed off half of my mate's family as well as Alette. I hope they understand that I had no choice. I needed to leave earlier so that I could prepare myself for what was about to happen.
Lance had texted me asking to move the challenge up and wanted it done tomorrow. I agreed to it. I was tired of waiting around, and wanted to get it over with so that we could move one with our lives.
Constantly having to look over your back, or worrying about whether your food is being poisoned, is exhausting. It's no way to live or raise a family.
Truth be told, if we had other land, I would relocate Spirit Mountain there. This pack territory doesn't hold much in terms of good memories for me. Other than my children being born here, nothing else ties me to this place.
