The room instantly fell into a strange silence as I stared at Malrick, unable to say a word for a while.
“Sleep together?” I repeated, almost unable to believe my ears.
Malrick's gaze was serious as he nodded, “Yes, for safety purposes.”
There was nothing wrong with what he had said, and I don't know why I'm hesitating. What exactly am I afraid of?
However, after a while, I had no choice but to nod. I had no reason to refuse him after all.
