The blue sky turned orange. The evening had come, and just as Kalliste had expected, Viltarin had just returned.
After talking for several hours with Naomi and Nathan, Kalliste got a lot of information about the Sapphire Pack and Viltarin. But Kalliste doesn't know about Viltarin's reason for keeping his distance from women. Looks like Kalliste should ask Osias or wait for Osias to tell her. Kalliste wasn't going to ask Viltarin because she knew for sure that Viltarin had a good reason.
It's not yet time for Kalliste to cook dinner for Viltarin. Kalliste helped Omega, who was putting groceries into the fridge. She glanced at Osias, who was walking towards the kitchen where she was cooking. A special kitchen for cooking Viltarin's food, and Kalliste often saw Osias making coffee there. Now she knew who Osias was making coffee for.
"Thank you, Kalliste," said the curly-haired omega, feeling thankful.
"I'm glad I could help you." Kalliste rushed to the kitchen next door. She's about to go on a mission to make coffee for Viltarin.
"What are you doing, Beta?" Kalliste stood next to Osias, picking up a glass and spoon. Osias gasped in surprise and rubbed his chest. Kalliste felt guilty for surprising Osias.
"I'm making coffee for Alpha." Osias took the coffee pack.
Kalliste squeezed her fingers together. She was confused. How could she tell Osias that from today onward, she would be the only one making coffee for Viltarin?
Osias noticed Kalliste, who looked uneasy. Mate Alpha was also acting weird because it wasn't usually for her to approach him and ask him what he was doing. All this time, Kaliste avoided him as if afraid he would talk about her relationship with Alpha.
"What are you thinking?" Osias turned to Kalliste.
Kalliste was surprised and held her neck; she suddenly felt nervous. "I, I was talking to Naomi and Nathan. They told me a lot about the pack and Alpha." Kalliste licked her dry lips. Her heart was pounding really fast. She's about to go on a mission to get close to Viltarin, but before she does, she's already nervous!
Osias rounded his lips. "Wow, that's great. I hope Nathan and Naomi don't give you a hard time. They are talkative, and sometimes it's not easy to control them, but they are obedient children. I allow you to scold and be strict with them." Osias smiled.
Kalliste nodded her head. "They cheer me up. I like them."
"If I may ask, what did they tell you about Alpha?" Osias believes that even though sometimes he can't control his little brother and sister's behavior, they won't tell sensitive things about Alpha.
Kalliste frowned. Why did Osias' face look worried? Is there something she shouldn't know? "They praised Alpha for leading the pack well and Naomi often complimented Alpha's handsome face."
Osias laughed heartily. "Naomi is like that, and I hope you are not jealous."
Kalliste chuckled awkwardly. Is she jealous? Of course not. Anyone could compliment Viltarin's handsome face, but Kenric was even more handsome to her. "No. I know Naomi is a big fan of Alpha."
Osias laughed so hard his stomach hurt, and tears appeared in the corners of his eyes. "That's right. She's a huge Alpha fan."
Kalliste looked at the still-empty glass. Due to chatting with him, Osias forgot to make coffee for Viltarin. She swallowed her saliva. She tried to shake off her embarrassment and nervousness. "Can I make coffee for Alpha? I want to help you." Kalliste stared straight at the surprised Osias.
Osias blinked twice and turned his body to Kalliste. Did he hear right? Isn't this a good thing? Alpha isn't ready to spend time with Kalliste yet. Then today, suddenly, Kalliste wanted to make Alpha some coffee. If Kalliste were to approach Alpha first, hopefully, their relationship would be as close as the other couples.
"Alpha will be pleased. I will tell you Alpha's favorite bitter coffee recipe. Alpha always drinks bitter coffee in the morning after breakfast and at night before dinner," said Osias.
Kalliste seriously watched Osias, who was demonstrating how to brew coffee for Alpha Viltarin. Kalliste understood one thing about Viltarin, that man didn't like sweetness.
Kalliste slowly inhaled and exhaled. Her heart beat three times faster. Right now, she was standing in front of Viltarin's workspace. She's nervous. She never approached a man first. Unbeknownst to her, she was following Kenric's orders to seduce Viltarin. Kalliste didn't want to do this, but she had to.
Once her courage had gathered, she knocked on the door, and when Viltarin let her in, her hand held a cup of coffee and slowly opened the door.
Kalliste walked slowly and lowered her head. Vitamin is busy with his work. "Excuse me, Alpha. I'm sorry to do this without your permission. I made you coffee. Beta taught me." Kalliste put a cup of coffee on the table.
Viltarin raised his head, and he was wide-eyed. He was too focused on his work and didn't notice Kalliste's presence. Kalliste sweet fragrant soothed his heart and relieved his dizziness. He clears his throat. He didn't expect Kalliste to make him coffee. His heart was beating as if it was about to explode.
"Thank you." Viltarin was nervous and awkward. Never before had a woman walked into his room, and Kalliste had broken through his defenses.
Kalliste didn't dare to look up, but she could see the coffee that Viltarin had not touched. She wanted to know Viltarin's opinion.
Vitarin frowned. Why didn't Kaliste leave the room? Didn't he already say thank you? Is something wrong?
'Maybe she wants to know what you think of the coffee she makes. Oh, gosh, Rin. Should I wake you up?' Ryu, Viltarin's wolf, let out a sharp sigh. Viltarin cannot understand other people's feelings, especially women.
Viltarin scratched his forehead. He ignored his wolf, who was happy to taunt him. He did what his wolf said. He sipped the coffee. The taste was slightly different from Osias's coffee, but he appreciated Kalliste's effort in making it. "Thank you again. It tastes good. Although it's a little different from Osias's."
Kalliste smiled happily. Viltarin loves her coffee! She bit his bottom lip. She couldn't shake off the awkwardness and hesitation. "If, if I may, I want to make your coffee every day. I will continue to study with Beta so that it tastes the same as what he makes."
Vitarin was shocked. He felt his heart beat wildly, and a warm feeling filled him. This was beyond his expectations. If Kalliste made him coffee every day, it meant they would see each other often. Viltarin felt happy, but he also felt fear and anxiety.
"Okay. As you wish."
Kalliste smiled happily. Then she surveyed Viltarin's workspace. He had never been to Kenric's workspace. The room is spacious and comfortable. Viltarin's scent dominated the room and made her heart flutter. She was sure her heart was pounding not with love, but because she inhaled Viltarin's scent.
Viltarin could not concentrate on work. His heart beat like a drum. Why doesn't Kalliste come out? Isn't he already drinking and commenting on the coffee he made? But deep down he was glad that Kalliste was here. He was reading the file but his eyes stole a glance at Kalliste who was walking towards the painting behind the sofa. He closed his eyes. God. He really couldn't concentrate.
"You collect paintings, yes." Kalliste does not understand the meaning of each painting, but she appreciates artists who have dedicated their time to painting.
Vitarin was shocked. How did Kalliste know? Perhaps Kalliste came to a conclusion because there was also a painting in the living roomi.
Kalliste glanced at Viltarin, who was busy with his laptop. Vitarin didn't answer. She mused. She was looking for a way she and Viltarin could get close. She silently watched Viltarin, who weas playing with the ballpoint pen. Then an idea popped into her mind. She had promised to throw away her embarrassment. So she won't give up.
"Alpha, would you like me to give you a massage?" Kalliste smiled very broadly
