Everyone in the world knows about the Sapphire Pack and Topaz Pack, who are fighting over the vacant land that was once the territory of the Aquamarine Pack.
Kalliste never thought she would go to the vacant land. She didn't want to think about that place because it reminded her of Kenric, who was injured and bleeding profusely.
But Kalliste couldn't say no. She had no idea why Viltarin had gone there. Will they go to war? However, Viltarin took Kalliste, and he did not go with his warriors.
"Alpha only told me to bring some clothes. Does that mean we'll be staying the night?" Kalliste put some clothes into a bag. She didn't know how many days they would be gone. She didn't dare to ask and also because she was surprised when Viltarin invited her.
'Hopefully, you guys will get closer.' Kaliste wolf hopes.
'Don't expect such a thing. We're away for work, not for vacation.' Kalliste rolled her eyes. Her wolf always had strange thoughts.
'I just hope.'
Kalliste sat on the edge of the bed and stared at her cell phone, which she held tightly in her hand. She was in doubt. Should she tell Kenric? Is this important information?
Kenric told her to tell him everything she knew about what Viltarin was doing. Like where Viltarin went, who the guests were and what they talked about, and Viltarin's conversation with Osias. Kalliste resembles a spy agent. She needed to improve her hearing so she could hear everything and act normal so no one would suspect her.
'What will Alpha Viltarin and Beta Osias do in the vacant land? Do you think I should tell Alpha Kenric?' Kalliste asked Irena. Even though she knew Irena didn't want to answer or was too lazy to answer.
'You ask me? You surely know what my answer is.' Irene snorted. Kalliste never forgot Kenric, even for one second.
Kalliste grimaced. Irena really hates Kenric. 'At least answer my first question. What are they going to do in the vacant land?'
'I have no idea, and I can't guess. If they didn't go with the warriors, it meant they weren't fighting. Maybe they will do something else. Think simply.' Irena was too lazy to think complicatedly. Kalliste always troubled herself.

Kalliste watched Viltarin and Osias, who was talking with Gamma and the chief warrior. Kalliste couldn't hear their conversation clearly because the wolf warriors were training; the warrior camp was next to Viltarin's house.
Kalliste looked at the plastic bag she was carrying. The omegas gave her lots of snacks so she wouldn't get bored. Maybe she will spend a lot of time in the room. She couldn't possibly follow Viltarin and Osias wherever they went.
"Kaliste," Viltarin called softly to the lost Kalliste. Osias might not have been surprised, but Gamma and the chief warrior were surprised to hear Alpha call out to a woman in a gentle tone. Their faces showed curiosity, and Viltarin pretended not to see.
Kalliste rushed into the car. She glared as Viltarin sat down next to her. She shouldn't have been surprised because in the front seat there was Beta and a warrior as the driver. Kalliste lowered her head. She was suddenly nervous and didn't know what to do.
'I love Viltarin's scent.' Unlike Kalliste, whose body was as stiff as a corpse, Irena enjoyed Viltarin's scent which made her heart flutter. Kalliste also felt her heart beating fast, she was sure the cause was not because she fell in love with Viltarin, but because she was nervous.
Viltarin playing a game on his cell phone. One way to divert the nerveous and tension is to play games. He will be immersed in the game. However, it seems the game can't make him forget his nervousness from sitting n
to Kalliste! Kalliste scent was like alcohol which made him intoxicated.
'You are an unpleasant man. You can have a short conversation with Kalliste. If you're afraid the warrior will tell his friends and word gets around that you're talking to your personal chef, isn't that commonplace? You were very familiar with your previous private chef." Ryu never tires of encouraging Viltarin to get closer to Kalliste.
'My previous private chef was a man. Did you forget?' Viltarin glanced at Kalliste, who looked uncomfortable. Had he taken Kalliste too soon? But he needs Kalliste, who is also his personal chef.
'Oh, I forgot about that. It might be strange if you were close to Kalliste since everyone working in the house and the warriors knew about the you keeping your distance from women. All you have to do is announce Kalliste as mate and Luna,' Ryu said.
'I don't want to do it yet. Kalliste also agreed. I didn't see any disappointment or sadness on her face when I said that.' Viltarin focused on playing the game again. He couldn't do anything to make Kalliste feel comfortable.
Osias secretly watched Alpha and Luna. He didn't expect them to talk, but at least he didn't want the car to be as quiet as a funeral. He turned on the radio and searched for a channel that was broadcasting the news.
Kalliste looked out the window. She hoped they would arrive soon. She found it hard to breathe. She had never felt so nervous like this.
Three hours later, they arrived at the wasteland that used to be the Aquamarine Pack's territory. Land containing gold and oil mines. The land that sparked wars and enmity.
Kalliste frowned. Nobody got out of the car. Viltarin and Osias only rolled down the windshield. They're suspicious. Kaliste's first time to this place. She felt sorry for the fate of the Aquamarine Pack, which was destroyed by the attacks of all the packs. They target gold and oil mines. Now only the Sapphire Pack and Topaz Pack are fighting over the vacant land.
"They didn't do anything to the markers," Osias said after surveying the vacant lot guardrail.
"But we have to be careful. Kenric is sneaky." Viltarin growled. He had kept his promise, but Kenric often broke. He was lazy to give Kenric a warning because Kenric would ignore him. Viltarin always tried to be patient whenever he met Kenric.
Kalliste scratched her cheek. She wondered what Kenric had been up to. Viltarin looked furious. She shuddered at the feeling of anger rising from Viltarin's body.
"Alpha, as we thought, he comes." Osias looked in the rearview mirror. He saw a black car, and soon Kenric got out.
"I haven't seen him in a while." Viltarin got out of the car, and Osias followed.
Kalliste's heart beat twice as fast. She could smell Kenric's scent which she missed. She looked back. If only she was allowed to get out of the car. She wanted to meet Kenric, but seeing his looking fine—like the last time she saw him—Kalliste heaved a sigh of relief. She was sure Kenric also smelled her scent.
Unlike Kalliste, Irena didn't like Kenric's scent at all. He was annoyed that Viltarin's scent was mixed with Kenric's. She do have two mate, but according to Irena they only have one, namely Viltarin.
Viltarin made eye contact with Kenric who was slowly approaching him. He showed an angry and irritmate. Kenric stared at Viltarin's car.ated face. "You came quicker than I thought."
Kenrick chuckled. Then his forehead creased as he inhaled the scent that made his wolf scream for their Is Kalliste in the car? He slightly shook his head and returned to making eye contact with Viltarin. He didn't need to think about unimportant things.
"Do you intend to enter?" Kenric pointed at a vacant lot that was enclosed by a guardrail that was two meters high.
Viltarin tilted his lips. "Weren't you the one who often ordered your warriors to enter? I never violated the agreement."
"Oh, so you knew all along." Kenric answered casually.
Viltarin clenched his fists. Kenric never fails to piss him off. "I should have killed your warrior, but I didn't because I still have a conscience."
Kenric laughed in an annoying way. "Gosh. I'm surprised to hear you flatter yourself. You're hilarious."
"I said seriously, but my patience was slowly running out. If you do it again, I will make sure your warriors die at the hands of my warriors." Viltarin threatens. His face was serious and his eyes were deadly.
Kenrick chuckled. He took Viltarin's words as a joke. "Do it. I want to see a different side of you. Don't hold back." Kenric winked and Viltarin snorted. "If we are not fighting over the vacant land, I would like to have you as my ally."
"I will reject it without thinking first." Viltarin hissed.
Kenric folded his arms in front of his chest. "Too bad. I'm disappointed."
"I mean what I said. I won't let you do as you please anymore," Viltarin said.
"I know, I know." Kenric nodded his head.
Viltarin and Osias returned to the car. Kenric tilted his lips, he looked at the empty lot before getting into his car.
Viltarin leaned back. He gulped down the water impatiently. Anger filled his heart.
Kalliste shuddered in horror, Viltarin was scary. She overheard Viltarin and Kenric's conversation, but she didn't want to interfere. She is sad because she can't meet Kenric. Then her phone vibrated and she read the message. Her eyes widened and her heart stopped beating for two seconds.
Why you didn't tell me if Viltarin, Osias, and you went to the vacant land?
