Zariah’s POV We traveled well after the sun set. It was after nine o’clock before we stopped to eat and rest again before we continued on. We weren’t far from the lake, and I discussed with Caedan and Kayne about taking a quick dip so I could wash the days travel from me before we ate. They didn’t want to let me, but agreed if Oria was there, or any of the female warriors. I asked the females if they wanted to wash up with me. They agreed and we decided to do it with half of us washing first while the others were lookouts and then we would switch. Caedan gave me my bags so I could grab clean clothes.
