Aquara’s POV It took us a day to get to the castle. We had to wait until the sun went down and they switched guards at the north gate before we could make our way to our old room. I’m not looking forward to being back in that room. I had a hard time sleeping the night before we left thinking on all the time we spent in that room. I had just turned eight in the Summer before King Malos took us and trapped us. Kindra and I had to take care of our younger sisters. Stowne helped when she could do more, but it was still hard becoming a mom sort of so young. I feel bad for Kindra as she didn’t have anyone older to help her and there were times, I had to look to her to act as a mom for me. I know why she wanted to try and pull the golden sword again. I know why she had a little of an attitude
