Ava’s (a.k.a. Avala’s) POV
I had fallen asleep in the corner spot with Kalan close by. He had wakened me in the middle of the night because he had curled himself behind me and put his arm around me. I could hear him snoring, so I don’t think he realized what he did. I was not going to complain. I like being close to Kalan he makes me feel safe and especially being back in this room feeling comforted allowed me to sleep easier. I felt when he woke and realize what had happened.
He had quickly taken his arm from around me and moved away seconds before Aquara came to get her satchel. I could hear their brief exchange as tho they thought me still asleep, I wasn’t.
