Wake up

Chapter : 14

                 “Iz,Izabell, Iz wake up love wake up please be ok please come back to me” 

        “We are the Alpha Queen, the new line of Royalty?” I don't understand “Sally I don't think you can be right I mean we are only a warrior not a Queen.” I'm packing by this point “Iz you need to calm down and listen, we don't have much time.” that stops me in my tracks. “ Sally, what do you mean we don't have much time, what's going to happen?” she lets out a chuckle “I'm sorry Izabell that was a poor choice of words for me to use, we just have a lot to talk about still then you need to go back.” I'm giving her a quizzical look and she lets out a sigh.

         “Let's go for a walk, this is your mind, this is where I am everyday when I'm not in wolf form with you.”  “Wow I guess i've never really thought about all this” It really looks so much like the real thing. “ Anyway Izabell the Moon Goddess couldn't really give us that much information on what's going on something about letting fate decide blah blah blah But she did say as an Alpha Queen we aren't like other wolfs that we can have multiple mates and we can decide what we want, she said there is a third mate. We chose a path that leads our kind down different paths: peace or war.”  

        “This is a lot to take in and wow Three ive never heard of any wolf having Three mates not even when there was royalty. How will we know about the last one? I mean we didn't even sense Xaver but we did with Theo? Can we accept them or the third wolf even? What do you think? It's something we have to decide together.” She is quiet thinking. She had longer to think about all this information and yet she doesnt know also. This is really something else. 

        “Honestly I dont know I'm still sad about Theo but the prospect of new mates is exciting. I don't think we should rush into anything. Do you think that will be ok with you.” She is right, we just need to take our time and get it right. This is the most important thing we'll ever do and it doesn't affect just us but everyone of our kind. “ Of course we can, I agree completely Sally.” I smile at her as we stop walking and turn to look at eachother “good now it's time to wake up.” Suddenly I am being pulled away from Sally. I don't cry this time. I know it's time to go home. 

                                                                            “Izabell wake up”

                                                                             “Wake up please”

                                                                “Please you feel so far away” 

                                                                        “Come back to me”

    It's dark only words are floating in my mind then I can feel it. Sparks, heat, tingles shooting thru my body all starting from my arm.

                                                                        ‘I need to open my eyes’

                                                                                    Darkness

                                                                            ‘I need to wake up’

                                                                                        Silence

                                                                            ‘I need to see him’

                                                                                        Falling

                                                    ‘I need to tell my brothers whats going on’

                                                            Suddenly white bright light…

    I'm aware of the white ceiling and I can hear a faint sound …. Beep…...beep…….beep. I look down and I see various tubes coming out of my right arm and hand. I look up and I see the monitor beep…...beep……...beep.

    I turn my head and see Xaver laying down on my left arm holding my hand for dear life. “Xaver?” My voice comes out raspy, almost unrecognizable. His head shoots up to look me in the eyes. He looks like he hasn't slept in days, bags under his eyes stubble lining his jaw and neck. “Izabell are you really awake or is this a dream?” he reaches his hand to my face but quickly retracts tears threatening to burst forth. I lift my hand to his face and rub on the stubble on his cheek and jaw. “I think I like the scruff you're growing here.” ‘I also very manly makes me want to rub up on him.’ I smile at hearing her again ‘I've really missed you Sal.’ He lets out a small chuckle “I guess i'll keep it for you then, let me go get your brothers and doctors.” he pulls to leave “wait not yet just stay a little longer please.” I say in a small voice. He stops dead in his tracks and looks deep in my eyes “I would want nothing more but your brothers might kill me if I dont go get them that you're awake i'll be back soon my little pup.” he stands up and gives me a swift kiss before leaving me alone in the room. 

    Not moments later Damin, Tim and Sandy all burst into the room, Sandy is the first one to reach my bedside Tim stands back and Damin comes to the other side careful with all the tubes. “Hey hun how are you doing Tim and I have been so worried and Damin here has been coming everyday to make sure that Xaver doesn't try anything with you.” Sandy says talking a million mile a minute. Damin stays quiet while Tim Sandy and I talk for a while. They catch me up a bit on what I've missed but nothing important and I don't feel like asking them my questions, they leave but Damin stays back 

        “IZ why has he been hanging around, he's hardly left your side. He has Sam even taking on his packs duties.” He won't look into my eyes but you can see pain and hurt in his body language. “Damin, Hun I've learned a lot and i'm going to need you. To lean on you in the coming days and weeks.” He meets my eyes, opening his mouth to say something when the doors open again and we watch Xaver, my brothers and a few doctors walk in. 

        “Why are you touching her????” His eyes turn a dark blue “Xaver, calm down D is my best friend and has been my brother the last 16 years he is not a threat to you.” he nods staring Damin down “Well this isn't awkward or anything.” Sam says clearing his throat and moting for the doctors to look me over. “Iz how are you doing and feeling? What happened?” James asks in rapid succession ``I let out a laugh. He's so worried “I told you what happened that day” Xaver growls out ‘Way too much Alpha energy today’ Sally snickers. “It's simple I got overwhelmed. It was an absolute information overload that day and honestly you all need to take a seat s**t about to be really crazy.” 

    I go over everything I've learned in the last few days starting with my account and Savings account of that day Father died, and ended with the fact I have 3 mates and am the Alpha Queen that was prophesied. 

        “So yeah I know it's a lot of information to take in and we need to talk with the elders and the king's counsel the ones who know about the prophecy better, they will know more about what is going on and what is going to happen and why I couldn't sense Xaver that morning I mean maybe it was dues to Theo standing so close to me the whole time. But we need to know who this third is and being honest we can't take his word for it if it is a man that is. Definitely when all wolf kingdoms find out who I am.”

    Xaver growls “Why do you need to know who this third wolf is when you have me?” I sigh “I don't know but the warning is still in my head I cant … We can rush into any choice we need to know as much as we can before we decide. The fate of our kin will be held in it and that is something we can't take lightly for all of our sakes.”
