“Why the hell did you let them come into the active crime scene?” asked Chief Fife.
“Chief, Corporal Baker, Officer Bellows and myself were busy trying to determine if Adams was still alive and I had just cleared the rest of the house to see if anyone else was present inside the house,” Sgt. Harmon replied.
“We didn’t notice them until they had already entered,” he continued.
“I did check the back door and it was unlocked,” Officer Bellows said.
