Chapter 15
The following Monday morning Detectives Fitz, Skates and Hannigan sat in the War Room planning the week's assignments.
Detective Skates was reviewing the in-basket where all new reports and messages, including messages from the Crime Check Tip Line, would be placed.
“What the hell!” he said as he stared at a Tip Line note.
Detective Hannigan and the others stopped what they were doing and stared at Detective Skates.
“A woman called in on the telephone Tip Line at Moses Lake Police Department and listed a guy named Ryan Bates as a suspect in the murder,” Detective Skates blurted out.
“She wanted to know about the $5,000 dollar reward,” he said.
