After the meeting Hannigan, Skates and Fitz sat back in their chairs to see which direction they would be taking on the investigation.
“Remember, we did put out an APB asking for any information law enforcement agencies had regarding 45 caliber handguns and ammunition they might recover from their department activities,” Hannigan said.
“Fitz, would you take the recovered 45 caliber shell casing in the John Adams case and hand carry it to the WSP Firearms Crime Lab? We need to see if it matches the six 45 caliber semi auto shell casings found at the scene of the shooting at I-90 and Quincy exit and the shell casings found in the red Honda,” Hannigan said.
“Sure thing, it’s only a 2 hour drive so I’ll leave right away,” Fitz replied.
