Detective Hannigan and the Investigative Team were back in the office the following Monday and they reviewed the lab reports with surprise.
DNA findings on the four spent 45 caliber shell casings recovered along I-90 were identified as belonging to Juan Garcia and another unknown male.
The DNA analysis from the swab of the Winchester Ammunition box found in the console of Ryan Bate’s pickup also came back to Juan Garcia and two other unknown male contributors.
There was no DNA found on the remaining cartridges located inside the Winchester Ammo box.
