The following Monday the defense team met to discuss updates.
Jackie had received the Juan Garcia recorded interview and signed confession, and she had also e-mailed them to defense investigators David Anson and Monty Victor.
Anson commented that law enforcement apparently had not followed up tracking the location of the 45 caliber handgun in Spokane, to find where it was currently located.
“Can you guys do a follow-up on the gun history just to tie up loose ends regarding Juan Garcia’s Statement,” Mark Scalia said.
“I know Tim Bolt, I know where to locate this guy, he lives in the zone west of the County Courthouse which is commonly called Felony Flats,” Anson continued.
“Are you and Monty available to go to Spokane and run down this guy?” Mark Scalia asked.
