Jackie Skelton, Mark Scalia and Colin Thurgood sat in Judge Charles Parker’s courtroom awaiting the Judge's appearance.
Dustin had been brought over from the jail with his hands cuffed and attached to belly chains around his waist as he sat between Mark and attorney Colin Thurgood.
Prosecutor Walter Colvins, and Detective Ralson Hannigan were sitting at the adjacent table with the podium used to address the Judge between the tables.
The court reporter and bailiff entered the room ahead of Judge Parker.
Judge Parker was a large intimidating man and the rumor was the Judge kept a 44 magnum revolver in a holster under his Judicial robe.
