Anson and Monty had been reviewing the reports received from Prosecutor Colvins’ office which contained the law enforcement interviews of Juan Garcia and Ryan Bates.
“It looks like there was some type of free talk conducted with Jesus Chaco which will probably be very valuable for us,” Monty said as he phoned Jackie Skelton and she put the phone on speaker so Mark Scalia and Colin Thurgood could hear the conversation.
Colin Thurgood responded, “I will ask for the document. I wonder why they haven’t sent the rest of those documents.”
Mark Scalia thought about the situation and said, “I wonder if Jesus Chaco is going to the Witness Protection Program? That might explain it and perhaps the County Prosecutor’s office may not have been told. It takes time for the U.S. Attorney’s
