Matteo’s POV
As the car approaches Apollo is getting more and more anxious, so now I know his behavior is linked to our new guests. It is never easy for wolves to have other Alphas on their territory. The only way it works is if they join the pack and pledge their allegiance to the packs Alpha. I can only imagine how hard this year will be on Apollo and therefore me.
Hopefully after Apollo meets Jorah and gets a feel for his wolf, he will realize Jorah is not a threat. I release a breath of air hoping to help settle Apollo down.
Now that the car is close enough I can see the passengers in the backseat. The air is almost knocked out of my lungs when I see the beauty in the backseat. She is a vision. I cannot tear my eyes away from her.
She is staring at me just as I am her.
