Alex The next morning seems to come way too early. My body physically hurts from sleeping on a thin foam mattress. Two new officers arrive to take me back to the judge. I hope whatever the new evidence is good and not another nail in my coffin. Walking into the courtroom, I see Kamryn. She looks at me with hope. Did she find something? The door opens behind me, and I turn to see my parents. Oh, no. This isn’t good. I’m getting the worst sentence possible; the judge may not even give me a trial with my parents here. After the judge walks in and calls Kamryn to speak, she walks towards the judge without any hesitation. “Your honor.
