Chapter 2

When I wake up on the couch I feel nauseous so I run to the washroom and puke then I brush my teeth to get the taste out of my mouth then I get some breakfast and I have a muffin and a glass of orange juice and I sit at the little island in the kitchen then there's a knock at the door and I answer it and it's my boyfriend Josh oh my god I forgot about him oh god I'm in deep s**t "hey I haven't talked to you I'm worried about you" he says "hey um I need to explain something to you and you might be a little angry with me but you can't interrupt me until I'm finished" I say "ok baby your scaring me " he says "I know just let me tell you this just come sit down" I say then we sit and I explained what I did to everyone else I have told "so your pregnant with his pup" he asks me "yes and I'm sorry I shouldn't have did it but you know if you found your mate you would have son it too" I say "I know baby and I get it don't worry I'll be there for you and this pup I love you and nothing can change that" he says "I love you too your the best really I thought you would hate me and yell at me I'm just so sorry" I say "baby it's ok I would never yell at you I never have" he says then hugs me "I love you" I say "I love you too baby now why don't we go for a walk" he says "ok can we get something to eat I'm starving" I say "yea we can get something to eat" he says then we go and walk to McDonald's and we order something to eat and then we sit and eat when we are almost done I can see that Josh is looking at a girl and she walks over "hi my names Kayla" she says "my names Josh" he says then she sits beside him and she looks at him and I instantly know that they are mates and I frown and he looks at me"hey don't be sad " he says "how can I not be sad I know she's your mate so I guess we're over so I guess this is goodbye" I say then I stand up and leave and I walk back home and go sit down on the couch and I cry now I'm all alone with this pup and I know that Josh said he would always be there for me I know he can't now because he has a mate now and I can't get in between that it's a law we have as wolfs as I get up to go to my room there's a knock at the door and I answer it and it's Josh "you don't need to explain nothing I can't get between you and your mate it's the law remember so I have to let you be even if I don't want to but I could go to jail for it" I say then Josh interrupted me "stop this I don't want her I want you I don't care if she's my mate you are everything to me I know my mate should be everything to me but she's not I rejected her she is nothing to me she's gone" he says "Josh don't do this to yourself I want you to be happy and you can't be truly happy until your with your mate" I say "no I'm truly happy with you I love you and like I said nothing can change that" he says then hugs me "what about this pup" I ask "what about it" he asks "I mean what will happen when it's born" I ask "I'll be there I will treat it like my own pup and love it like my own" he says "ok I love you" I say "I love you too and I always will" he says then there's a knock at the door I answer it and it's the mailman "Mrs here's an invitation for the new Alfa's coronation the whole pack has been invited" he says "oh well thank you have a nice day" I say "you too" he says then he leaves "who was at the door" josh asks when I go back to him "it was just the mailman he gave me an invitation to the new Alfa's coronation let's see when it is" I say as I open the invitation "oh it's next weekend and I have an appointment the day before it" I say "oh what appointment" Josh says "it's a doctor appointment to check on the pup I get to know the gender then I can't wait" I say excitedly "ok cool" he says "you want to come with me" i ask "yea I'd love to" he says "ok great" I say just

A week later

I have the appointment today and Josh is meeting me there so I'm getting ready to go I have a shower then get dressed and put a little makeup on and then get into my car and drive to the doctors office and I see Josh waiting for me and I walk over to him and we walk in "hello my name is Layla Andrews and I have a appointment with doctor Long" I say "oh yes just wait and he will be with you shortly" the girl at the desk says "thank you" I say then I sit down I wait about 5 minutes then a nurse calls me and I fallow her to a room "the doctor will be here soon just sit and he will be here" she says so I sit and the doctor comes in "hello Layla how are you today" he asks "I'm good" I say "that's good now let's get started with the checkup" he says then starts to check "ok everything seems fine now let's do the ultrasound" he says then he puts the jelly stuff on my stomach and an image appears on the screen "ok so it looks like you will have 2 pups" he says "oh my god" I say "would you like to know the genders" he asks "yes I'd like to know please" I say "ok so baby A is a girl and baby B is a boy" he says "thank you" I say then we leave and I have to go shopping for a dress for the Alfa's coronation tomorrow and Josh is coming with me to pick it "ok now that that's don with let's go get me a dress for tomorrow" I say to Josh "ok let's go" he says then we get into my car and we go to the mall and we go into a dress shop and I try on 30 dresses before I find one that I really like it's a soft pink strapless and it goes to my ankles and the top sparkles and it has a sweetheart neckline "I thinks this one perfect" Josh says "yes I think so too" I say then we buy it and we go back home to my place and we cuddle and watch a movie half way in the movie I fall asleep and I guess Josh took me to my room because I wake up in my bed in the morning and I get up and its 10:00 and the coronation is at 12:00 so I have a shower and get dressed and I do my hair and makeup by the time I'm done it's already 11:30 so I get something to eat and I leave to go to the coronation and I get there an find Josh then we sit in the second row from the stage and wait for the coronation to start and when it starts "please rise for Alfa Roger Jones" a woman on the speaker says then we stand and our Alfa comes in front of up "hello everyone and welcomei to the coronation of my son please welcome your soon to be Alfa Jack Jones" he says then he comes on stage and imidietly I recognize him he my mate and he sees me and I smile at him "hello I'd like to say that I will be a proud Alfa and I will not let this pack down" he says "now do you Jack take responsibility of this pack and keep them safe and protect us" a man says "yes I will take responsibility an keep this pack safe" Jack says "then with the power vested in me and Alfa Jones you are now the new Alfa of Light Moon pack" the man says then Alfa gives him a little pendent "this pendant represents this pack you are now the Alfa and you shall protect the pack and all its wolfs" Alfa says then puts the pendant in Jacks hand and Jack is now the Alfa and then I think because he's the new Alfa and I have his pups oh my god it's a boy so he would be the Alfa oh this is bad why do I always have bad luck when the ceremony is over I stand up and try to leave but then Jack grabs my wrist and I feel sparks and I turn around "Layla I'm sorry I ever rejected you I can't live with out you" he says "I'm sorry but I just can't it hurt when you rejected me" I say "please I can't deal with this I need you" he says then looks down at my stomach "so you already got over me who's the asshole who did this" he yells "calm down it's not what you think" I say "no I'm not going to calm dow until you tell me" he yelled "ok stop yelling your the asshole who did this" I say using air quotes with the word asshole "oh oh my god what how" he asks shocked "ok you know how but I know this is shocking and I get it
