Chapter 9

2 years later

"Mommy wheres my dolly" Lauren asks "honey it should be in your room" I say to my 3-year-old " can you help me find her pwez" she asks giving me puppy eyes "ok let's go find her" I say as she grabs my hand and we go to her room and I go to the toy bin and rummage around then I pull out her doll "here you go Lauren she was in your toy bin" I say handing her he doll "tank you mommy I wuv you" she says then happily goes back to playing with her doll and I go back to my kitchen to finish making dinner

I fell someone come up behind me and wrap there arms around me "how's my beautiful mate and child today" Jack asks I'm almost 9 months pregnant with a baby girl "just the same as 20 minutes ago we are perfectly fine" I say then I go back to making dinner just as I put everything out on the table I hear a crash coming from upstairs then crying "mommy" I hear like yell and I run to his room "what is it bud" I ask "I fell of my bed and hurt my arm" he says "oh baby let me see your arm" I say then he shows me his arm and I see a small purple bruise "it's ok baby it's just a small bruise it will be gone in a couple of hours" I say "ok mommy" Luke says "ok well come downstairs dinners ready" I say "ok" Luke says then heads downstairs "babe Lauren dinners ready" I say loud enough so they can hear me then then come and we go downstairs and I see like sitting at the table waiting patiently so I put the food on plates and give one to each of us and we eat

After dinner I start a bath for the twins when it is done being filled I call for the twins "Lauren Luke come for your bath" I yell and they come running (they love the bath or anything to do with water we go to the beach often) "mommy can we have bubbws pwes" like asks "yes you can" I say the put some bubble bath into the water and it starts to bubble and i turn to see that the twins have already undressed themselves and I lift Luke into the tub then Lauren and I turn around to grab the baby shampoo and I turn around and luke throws a cup of water at me and I'm splashed by it and the twins are giggling and I burst out laughing too "Luke you silly boy" I say then I finish cleaning them up I grab a towel for luke and I turn to find just luke standing there "where's your sister" I ask and he points to the door "ok go to mommy and daddy's room daddy will get you dressed" I say the go to find lauren and I hear giggling in a closet and I open the door to find Lauren sitting there and I grab her "you silly girl let's go get you dried off" I say then grab a towel and take her to my room "woah what happened to you" Jack asks "well Luke decided to splash me with a cup of water" I explain then get lauren changed into her pyjamas ok luke come with me lets get you to bed i take his hand and we go to their room "mommy can you read to us pwes" lauren asks "ok both of you go pick a book" i say then they run towards the book shelf we have it their room and they come over to me luke has a spiderman book and lauren has Madaline

After I'm done reading the books both kids are asleep so I pick up luke and put him in his bed then tuck them in then go to my room and change int my pyjamas then get into bed and grab my book I have been reading

In the middle of a chapter, jack interrupts me by kissing from my shoulder to my neck and I shiver as he kisses my mark "why don't we go shower together didn't that sound nice" he says as he smirked at me "not tonight I'm tired" I say "baby you be been saying that for the past week and a half" he says "I've been dealing with toddlers and running around after them cleaning there made with no help from you so excuse me if I'm tierd" I say "Don't do this baby" he says softly "maybe if you helped a little I wouldn't be tired all the time" I argue "I'm sorry I just have lots of work to do with the new pack member coming in" he says "Yes and i understand that but you could have at least helped me put them yo bed" I say "I'm sorry baby I promise I will help you tomorrow" he says "that's what you've been saying for the last 2 days" I say rolling my eyes "Layla please understand I'm really busy with the pack but how about I take the next 2 weeks off and we spend it with the kids and go on a little road trip" he suggests " oh that sounds fun" I say "so it's settled we are going on a road trip " he says "Yes we are I'll start packing in the morning we have 2 days to plan ok" I say "good now let's get some sleep so we can get ready" he says "what happens to taking a shower" I ask "i thought you said you were tired" Jack says "well you got me exited with this trip" I say "and what dose that have to do with a shower" he says "well I've got some energy now you want take one or not" I say "of course I do" he says excitedly "Ok well let's go then" I say then we get into the shower after we are done we fall asleep
