When they arrived, Aries opened the car’s door abruptly causing Jake to scramble from trying to not fall down, Aries held onto his shoulder. He was smiling widely ,”Here we are Sir Walton”. Jake glared, getting out, tugging his suit and readjusting his tie. Jake pushed his hair back with one hand, another day at the HQ. He set his face to the one his employees were used to, the one that made him seem cold and unapproachable. He walked briskly into the entrance, employee bowing and greeting him, Jake continued without pause. He got into the private elevator for only high ranking company employees, such as directors and board members. Jake never greeted his employees not because he thought he was better than them, but he didn't want to make them think he was their friend. They would start to get to familiar thinking they could get a promotion, if they kissed up enough. Jake went straight to his office, looking at all the documents that needed to be approved. He focused on his tasks, looking at all the data that was in piles on his desk. The loss and profits of every venture that needed his approval. Jake did this for hours, revising data, loosing track of time when he was focused. His head snapped up at hearing loud commotions from outside his office. There was only one person who would dare disturb Jake at his work place. He groaned. The door banged open. Mark strode in like he belonged there, saying " What up my Jake? " he winked. He really like turning his name into a suggestive one. " Ready to partyyy! He yelled out, dragging out the last word with enthusiasm. Mark closed his eyes. “Damn Mark, don’t you have a job” he said annoyed, looking at him with a raised eyebrow. He leaned back in his executive chair, glaring at him for interrupting his work, playing with the pen in his hand, twirling it around. Mark snorted. “Yeah right. And work like you, no thanks” he shudders out, as if the thought of working in an office was the worst thing he could imagine. Which it might as be, considering Mark had made a name for himself as a great rapper, and producer. Always loving music and dance, working at an office doing menial tasks that made the business thrive would be a nightmare to him. Having to wear an office suit, and do data inputs, he would quit in the first hour. Jake was snapped out of his musings, when Mark sat down in the chair in front of him. “We are going out to this new club, supposed to be the hottest one in town” responded Mark with joy, looking at Jake expectantly. Jake rolled his eyes, as he languidly told him, “They all say that, it’s called marketing”. Mark in turn rolls his eyes, exasperatedly responding,“Yeaah, it’s called having fun”. Mark gestures towards Jake and himself, and says“ And we are going to have a blast.” He leans forward, saying “ Your so uptight, when was the last time you got laid,” he inquired. He continued, “When did little Jake get some action” he was smirking annoyingly. Jake scowled “ I’m not going to say anything” he bitted out. Mark whistled, “ That long, oh we are definitely heading out” he clapped his hands in excitement. “Getting you laid. No excuses” he comments." I’m going to wait outside and keep your lovely personal assistant some company while you” he pauses shuddering and shaking his head, “ You knows work and all. Byeee!” Mark struts outside like he was the CEO of the company and not Jake. Jake sighed; he couldn’t just get out of this. Mark was waiting for him and once he gets something stuck in his head, he doesn’t stop. He both liked and despised that character trait from Mark. His stubbornness, often dragging along Jake in his adventures. He got up, might as well leave. He wasn’t going to focus on work anymore, not with knowing his trouble making friend was outside; with his employees. He put his hand in his pocket, and felt a piece of paper. He pulled it out and read the name and number. He clutched the note in his hands, getting an idea that wouldn’t make him look like a creep for asking this information in the first place. He headed outside, only to see that Mark was poking Aries at his desk. From what Jake could hear, “come on, Hang out with us, you’ll have fun”. He was trying to convince him to go clubbing. Jake knew Aries would say no. He never accepted. Jake called out for Aries before he lost his temper. He could tell his jaw was clenching, and eye twitching. “Aries, please contact this person and offer them a job” Aries raised an eyebrow taking the paper saying in a confused tone, “But we are not hiring”. Jake rolled his eyes responded “ I know. Hire him.” Aries nodded his head. He was the boss. “Make sure he starts on Monday.” He pauses before continuing “ That leaves him time to quit his job". He further comments," your going to train him”. Aries eyebrows raised up in surprise asking him, “Am I getting fired”. He was confused as to why he would need a second personal assistant. Jake smiled, saying “ No. Not yet”. Aries pouted, crossing his arms in annoyance. Jake continued, “ He’ll do some of your work load, give you time to actually have a life” He put on a hand on his shoulder, “Go out sometime, yeah” he commented. Jake left him surprised, Aries was a bit of a workaholic. This would be good for him. Mark smiled saying " Now you can go clubbing with us". Aries not only did his scheduling so nothing overlapped and made sure he attended meetings on time. He would review notes on ventures, and tell him what was profiting and what was lacking, he would stay into the late night so Jake could leave early. Aries went beyond what was required of him.
