Chapter 15

Times passes and ive become quit close with the guys, always keeping things exciting and interesting. To sat the least there isnt a dull moment in my life anymore. Im thankful that they found me and that i chose to stay with them. I still think of my father and Anton every now and then, sometimes I miss my father. I havnt heard from anyone and i wonder if they even are that im gone. I know my father must be more irate than anything because ive cost him his deal with the Italians. The longer that im here the less i seem to care. He should have treated me better, I didnt kill my mother I didnt have a say. I had to grow up without my mother and my father I dont see how that is fair to me that he took it out on me. I try to shake myself out of those thoughts because I will end up getting upset the longer I think about it. My heart aches for my father but maybe this was for the best. I walk to the gym to try and settle my thoughts this morning. I take out my phone and connect the Bluetooth speaker, pressing play on my workout playlist. Bad b***h by Bebe Rexha starts blasting through the speaker and my workout begins, I start with cardio. Running on the tredmill I let the music flow through me and I start to feel the words as she sings. Feeling a bit better once ive ran three miles I hope off and go over to the punching bag and other equipment the guys have down here to help improve my fighting skills and I start punching. Im so in the zone that I dont hear anyone approach me, someone taps me on the shoulder and I through a right hook without thinking. “Wow there killer, It’s just me” Nikolai says “Im sorry Nik I was just so caught up in my workout” I say a little out of breath. “Thats alright, are you okay babe?” He asks “Im fine just some things i was thinking about that got to me and I needed to get it out” looking down as I speak. “Are you better now?” “Yea im fine, I think im done here im going to head up and shower” i tell him. “If your sure, you know Im here if you ever need to talk right?” And I smile “I know Nik thank you but I really am good now, promise”. He smiles and I turn around to head out the gym and I feel a smack on my ass and I whip around “what was that for?” “Nothing just felt like it, now go up and shower you smell” he says smirking trying his best to tease me. I shake my head and turn back around and me my way up the stairs to my room. After a much needed shower, I dress in a simple yellow sundress with flats. Leaving my hair down to air dry I walk down the stairs about to head to the library to look through the new books Vik bought for me. He knows I love romance novels and made sure to order me plenty. Seeing how I tend to read a lot. I just love how I can pick up a good romance novel and get lost inside of it. So engrossed in the book the day will pass me by, but I love it. It’s a great escape from reality, I can be in Paris with the girl in my book being treated with coffee with a view in the arms of a gorgeous man. I’m excited to see which books he has bought for me I hurry down the stairs and into the library. Going straight to the cart that is in the middle of the room where I know the new books are I start to pick through them to find my next read. While I’m looking through books the door of the library opens and I turn to see who it is. Ivan and Andrei walks in “hey baby cakes what you up to?” They call out. Smiling back “I’m going through the new books Vik ordered for me, trying to find my next read. What are you guys doing here?” The have smiles on their faces and I wonder what they are up to, they never come to the library. “We may have done something, but you’ll have to come out front and see if you wanna know.” Oh god I think to myself what have they done now. I walk with them to the front door and they open it and let me walk out first. I’m looking around but not seeing anything out of the ordinary so I turn to them “what is it, I don’t see anything” “let’s walk over to the garage” they say. We walk over to the garage and there sitting in the front is a pink car with a giant bow on top. I gasp and whip around to face them “what is this? Is that mine?” Thinking it is because why would they drive a pink car? “Yes it’s yours, we thought you might want a car of your own” they say smiling brightly. I launch myself into both of them, hugging their necks tightly. “Thank you thank you thank you. No one have ever gotten me anything like this” I can’t stop smiling. Running over to the car I admire the beauty sitting in front of me. “It’s an Audi R8, It’s a very fast car but we wanted you to have nothing but the best” Ivan says smiling at me. “It’s so beautiful I love it” I say “well go on and sit in it and tell us what you think”. I open the driver door and sink into the driver seat, running my hands over the steering wheel admiring the interior. It’s fully loaded with everything you could ever think of and a huge touch screen radio. “We can take it for spin if you want” Ivan says “I dont know how to drive, I was never tought” I say sadly. “Dont worry one of us will teach you love, im sure you will get the hang of it in no time” Im grinning so hard “I would love that, I cant wait!” I step out of the car and walk around it, as I round the back of the car the rest of the guys are standing there smiling at me. I run up to them “look at my new car Isnt it beautiful” Viktor grins “not as beautiful as you but were glad you like it sweetheart.” Kissing the top of my head and I wrap my arms around him. I beam up at Roman and go over to him and wrap him in a warm inbrace. “It’s very pink but we know its your favorite color so It fits you well” he says “I love it, Ivan said someone would teach me to drive since no one ever has”. “Who would you like to teach you to drive sweetheart?” Ivan asks and It’s a hard decision. I look at all of them and settle on the twins I havnt gotten to spend much time with them lately and they seem all to eager “I want Ivan and Andrei to teach me” I say. The twins are beaming with joy as Ive just made their day. Everyone gives me a hug and makes their way to work except the twins, they stay behind and we begin my driving lessons. I have driving lessons everyday for the next week and ive gotten pretty good at it. Parking was the hardest part for me but I ended up getting the hang of it with the help of the twins. They have been so patient with me and I cant express how happy I am. It was such a thoughtful gift, somthing money cant buy. I wish there was somthing I could do to repay them for all they have done for me. I wrack my brain for ideas but I dont have any money and nothing to really offer them. Im in the middle of getting out of the car after parking it from my driving lesson today when Ivan says “Hey want to go to the beach with me and Andrei tonight beautiful?” I smile and nod “yes!” I run around the car and hug him. Ivan laughs “Okay well go get showered and dressed, I will get everything ready for tonight and we will meet you back here when you finish getting ready.” Im so excited I run up to my room to shower and get ready for tonight. Im currently standing in my closet ina towel trying to choose the outfit I will wear tonight. The beach is sandy and the weather is still pretty warm out so I opt for a sundress but can't decide on the color. I have two to choose from red, green, and white. I end up choosing the white one and pair it with some scrappy sandels, leaving my hair down is soft curls. I decided against any makeup tonight, giving my self one last once over in the mirror before I go meet the twins. Im walking down the stairs and Viktor yells out “hey baby” I turn to him “Hey vik” and throw myself in his arms. “Where you off to sweetness?” I blush “the twins are taking me to the beach tonight, im not sure what were doing but Im excited to go. Do you want to come with us?” I ask him “I would love to baby but I still have some work to finish tonight, but I will make it up to you soon.” He says smiling down at me. “That okay Vik, I understand. Don’t work too hard, maybe Ill see you when I get back.” I wink at him and he growls “dont temp me baby, or you’ll never get out that front door”. He smirks at me and I giggle. Giving me a quick kiss I head down the stairs and out the front door to meet the twins for our adventure tonight. I get outside to the garage and the twins are waiting for me next to their car. “All ready to go? We have everything ready, we will have dinner there.” “Yeah im ready I cant wait to see the ocean, this will be a new experience for me”

I say “then lets get going so we aren’t late”. Not knowing what they have planned for tonight my mind is left to wander. The ride to the beach takes us about fourth five minutes and when Ivan parks the car Im rushing out to get a closer look at the water. It’s breathtaking, the water is the lightest shade of green and blue. It’s so clear and the sand bar is almost empty, not many people are here. Ivan and Andrei are at the trunk of the car, I walk over to see if they need any help. “Do you need any help?” Looks like there are blankets and bowls of food and there’s a cooler. “We got it sweetness, just go pick a spot and we will be right there” I grin and go over to the sand walking to find a good spot to set up. I settle on a spot near the water I turn around to find the twins not far behind me. They lay out a large blanket and start setting everything on it. We sit on top of the blanket and get comfortable. “So you want to tell me now what’s planned for us tonight?” I ask “you will see very soon, lets eat some snacks we brought and watch the waves” Andrei says. We start eating the grapes and apple slices that was packed, the sun starts to set. The sun is close to the water and the colors are so vibrant with the orange and pink im in awe. “It’s the best view in the world, i dont think ive ever experienced somthing more beautiful” I tell them. “Thats was the plan, we thought you would enjoy the view and the experience of the beauty of the perfect sunset” Ivan says smiling. Our night consisted of watching the sunset and enjoying the peaceful noises the ocean was giving us. After we finish our snacks and its starts to get darker we pack up and head back home. Tonight gave me just what I needed. Peace. Peace of mind, peace of everything that has been weighing heavy on me about my past. I know im right where I belong and I cant wait to see where my future with them takes me. We get home and Im dragging my feet to my room I flop on my bed and darkness consumes me, finally feeling at pace.
