Chapter 16

It’s been a week since my date night with Ivan and Andrei at the beach. I’ve enjoyed spending time with all my guys except for Aleksandr, I try not to think about our night together after the club. He hurt me in ways I don’t ever want to feel again, but the thrill of what we shared for that short amount of time was memorable. I’ve been excited about spending time with Roman he’s planned another bike ride with me in a few days, but I don’t have anything to wear other than jeans. I really want to get some leather pants and boots like he has for our bike ride. So I’m walking to Viktor’s office to talk to him about maybe letting me go out to the mall by myself. I knock on his office door and wait for a reply. I hear “come in” and i open the door and walk in. “Hey baby girl, I wasn’t expecting to see you until dinner what’s going on?” He says leaning back in his chair behind his desk. “Roman has another bike ride planned for us in a few days and I would like to go to the mall to buy some leather pants and boots to wear for our ride, so I was coming to ask if I could drive to the mall to buy them?” He smiles warmly at me “of course you can baby, you seem to have excelled in your driving lessons, you shouldn’t have a problem with driving yourself to the mall, you have your phone on you so I don’t have a problem with you going out” he reaches into his side pocket of his suit pocket and grabs his wallet “here, take my card and buy what you need baby, you will have a card of your own soon. I ordered you one a few days ago”. I rush to his side and wrap my hands around his neck “thank you Vik, I’m so excited to drive my car and go to the mall” giving him a kiss on the cheek. He grabs me by my waist and pulls me to his lap where I’m straddling his waist. He grabs my face with his hands “you’re more than welcome baby, I want you to have fun and enjoy your time out. But if you keep this up, I’m afraid I won’t be getting any work done today and you won’t get your shopping trip you are so eager for” feeling his growing member beneath me. I blush “sorry I was just so excited I didn’t mean to get you hot and bothered” my panties are moist feeling him beneath me. He growls “go, have fun baby. Tonight you are mine.” He claims my lips with his in a heated kiss. When he releases me I stand and straighten my dress. “I’ll see you at dinner, and I’ll text you when I get to the mall then when I get back I’ll come by again to let you know I’m back” I tell him. I don’t want him to worry because I know he will. This is my first time going out on my own. I walk down the stairs going over to the inside door that leads to the garage to grab my car keys. Picking up my keys with a pink keychain I open the door to the garage and go over to my car. Leaving the house alone feels exhilarating, I’ve never went anywhere alone. Freedom never felt so good. I punch in the gps directions to the mall. Following the gps I’m thirty minutes away so I play some music. I find the perfect song Edge of the ocean by Stick Figure, the song calms me and takes me back to the memories I made at the beach. I’m pulling into the mall in no time, parking my car I make sure to lock it. I walk inside and go over to the directory so I can find a*****e that might sell what I’m looking for. This mall is so large I don’t want to get lost. Finding the perfect place to start my shopping, I head in the right direction. Getting to the store front I walk in and a girl greets me “welcome in, what are you looking for today?” I tell her I’m looking for leather pants and boots and she helps me find everything I need. I end up buying leather pants, riding boots and a cute leather jacket with pink embroidered around the edges. It’s perfect. After I check out, I walk around the mall and look around at all the other shops. I buy more jeans, work out clothes and running shoes. Ive shopped up quit an appetite so i walk around until i find the food court. I settle on some Chinese food, I love the sesame chicken with steamed vegetables. I find a table and sit to eat. The food was so worth it, i finish in record time. I was really hungry. Finishing everything I get up and throw away my trash and pick up all my shoppings bags and start walking back to my car. I open the trunk of the car and put all my shopping bags inside, shutting the trunk I feel eyes on me. I turn to look around and dont see anyone, I walk over to the driver door and before I can open the door i hear a voice i didnt think i would hear again. “Ellie” I turn to see Anton standing behind me. Im not sure what to do, i dont know what it means for him to show up here. I dont want to go back with him, ive fallen in love with them. “How have you been? I was so worried about you but I see you seem to be doing well.” “Yes ive been fine, i found people who care about me and who take good care of me. I dont want to go back with you. I dont want to go back to that life, ive made a new life for myself.” Starting to feel nervous “you dont even know what you have gotten yourself into girl, ive been watching you. I've kept eyes on you since you left. It wasnt hard to find you and let me say im shocked you want to stay with them.” Im confused by what he is talking about. “What are you talking about? How do you know who ive been with?” I ask him. “You’ve been shacked up with the Russian mafia don and his six brothers. I have my ways of knowing things, its my job. Do you have any idea how much trouble you have caused for your father with you being there with them. I understand why you left Lorenzo but you fall right into the hands of the filthy Russians. They are no damn better than the monster you were about to marry Ellie.” My breathing is heavy, he cant be telling the truth. Viktor woudln’t keep somthing like that from me. If they are who he says they are then they knew who I was and just who my family is. That also means that they have played me, used me to get to my father. I dont want to believe that, Anton has to be leing. “I will need proof, they cant be who you say they are. They wouldnt lie to me, they care about me” im in denial, I fell for them. Anton pulls his phone out and scrolls until he stops, turning his phone around so i can see his screen. “This is Viktor, don of the Russian mafia and there are his six brothers Aleksandr, Ivan, Andrei, Roman, Dmitri and Nikolai. They are publicly known as crime bosses, ruthless and very dangerous men. They deal in weapons and drugs.” Im looking at an article of the seven of them, standing in front of the club we went to that night and under it the captions read “The ruthless crime bosses of New York” adn the articles say more but im in such a state of shock that I feel sick. I look away from his screen “Im sorry to have to be the one to tell you Ellie, but they have been playing you all along. I thought maybe you knew who they were and was being held there against your will. Then I seen you on different occasions and you didnt seem like a prisoner. I thought surely you knew what you had gotten yourself into. But I guess I know the answer judging by the look on your face. Im sorry Ellie.” Anton says and Im just to out of it to pay attention. “It’s fine, what are you doing here?” I try to pull myself from the downward spiral and stay strong until im in private so i can think this through. “I came to warn you, you need to watch yourself. Something is about to happen and I dont want you getting hurt. I cant make you come back but I at least want you informed about who are shacking up with.” “Thanks for the heads up, I can take care of myself” i say trying to hold back the tears “Im sure you can but just in case, take this just in case you need to escape” he hands me a bag i didnt see him holding. I open the bag to find it slammed full of cash. “Cash so it cant be traced, if ever you need to get away undetected.” Great full of the thought “thank you, I must be going before they start wandering where i am and come find me talking to you.” I dont look back I just get in my car and stash the bag of cash behind my seat. Driving back to the mansion, I think about what ive learned about the guys. They lied to my face and betrayed me. They knew who i was all along and never said a word. Are they going to try to use me? When were they planning on telling me who they really were, if they were planning on telling me anything at all. My thoughts consume me as i pull the car back into the garage. I sit there for a minute to try and pull myself together. I dont want to tell them what I've learned today, I need time to digest this on my own. I head inside carrying my bags to my room, its dinner time but i no longer have an appetite. Closing my bedroom door I set my bags down and curl up in my bed. I just want to go back to the way it was before i went to the mall. Back to the unknown blissful life I was living before I was made aware of the harsh reality. I curl myself into a ball and fall asleep, I dont want to see any of their faces right now. I drift off thinking about the guys and all ways they have all hurt me by keeping the truth from me. My dreams are plagued with nightmares of the night i ran away from Lorenzo. I toss and turn until im exhausted and just cant think anymore and darkness consumes me.
