Chapter Six

"I've got the perfect plan for today." I said, looking between Tyler, Kevin, and Antony. The pack had finished breakfast a few minutes ago so the table was now empty, allowing the four of us to talk freely. "And what's that?" My mate asked from beside me. "Let go into the city and buy some suits! For the banquette." I said eagerly, this would be a good chance for Tyler and Antony to get to know eachother. Life won't be any fun if my mate and beta/best friend dislike each other. "Together?" Tyler questioned nervously and I didn't even have to look to know he was glancing at my mate as he said it. "Of course." I replied turning to him with a hopeful look. He opened his mouth to reply and I frown because the look on his face tells me he's about to decline, "I think that a great idea." Antony said before Tyler could say anything. I turn to him, my eyes wide from excitment and shock, "Really?!" I asked and he nodded with a small laugh. "Yeah that doesn't seem like too bad of an idea." Kevin said, continuing to look through the papers he had laid out on the table. My smile grew and I looked to Tyler for his response, He looked from me to Kevin to Antony and then back to me before sighing in defeat, "Alright fine, I'll go." he answered. I cheered before nearly bouncing off my seat, "Let's go get dressed and then meet each other here in ten minutes." I stated. Kevin's face fell as he finally looked up from his papers, "We're going now?" he asked dejectingly. "We still have six days until the banquette and I have a lot of paperwork to do." he said lifting the papers that were in his hands. I rolled my eyes at his hypocrisy, "Why are you so eager to work? Just calm down and relax we have more than enough time to work." I said, repeating what he had told me when we arrived. He opened his mouth to reply but in the end just sighed with a shrug, "Fine Fine, I'll go start getting ready." I smiled, he gave in faster than I thought, "Thank you." I said getting up from the table, "I'll meet y'all here in ten." I called over my shoulder earning three sounds of agreement. I strip out of my clothes as I head into the shower. After a quick wash I go into my closet and pick out a short-sleeved green turtle neck shirt, if you haven't noticed I really really like turtlenecks. I put on the shirt then put on regular blue jeans. I go back into the restroom and take off the towel I had on my hair. Despite leaving my hair wrapped the entire time I got dressed, my hair was still wet. I groaned but in the end did nothing but shrug at the mild inconvenience. "Your hair's still wet." Tyler says as I exit the room. He's wearing a regular white t-shirt with an open blue flannel and black pants. "I'm aware." I say, grinning at his dull exspression that quickly turns into a frown when I begin to walk off. "Why are you doing this?" he says after jogging to catch up with me. "You sound as if I'm murdering one of your pets." I reply and he sighs following me down the steps. "You know he hates me, don't you?" "I'm aware he isn't fond of you but I doubt he hates you." "Really?" he questions in a unconvinced tone as we reached the first floor. I abruptly turn on my heels facing him, "Look Tyler, you are my bestfriend and Beta and he is my mate. You both are the most important people in my life right now." I said sighing as I place my hands on his shoulders "I just really need the two of you two get along." He gulped beforing letting out a loud and irritated breath, "Fine." he answered with his head slightly hung back and his eyes closed in frustration. I smiled taking my hands off his shoulders, "Thanks bro." "Yeah yeah." he answered waving me off as he walked past, I followed behind him chuckling at his annoyed tone. "Finally, we've been waiting for hours." Kevin comments as we enter the sitting room. "Your over exaggerating." I say rolling my eyes. Antony gets up and walks to me, he takes both my hands in his and quickly gives them a kiss, "You look gorgeous." he grumbles near my ear. "It seems you've picked up Kevin's habit of over exaggerating things." he chuckles and pulls me into a hug, planting small kisses all on my face. I whined using both my hands to cover and push his face away, "Can we leave now?" I questioned timidly when I caught a glimpse of a laughing Kevin over Antony's shoulder. He removed my hands and stared at me for a few seconds before leaning in and giving my one final kiss on the tip of my nose, "Your lucky I'm not making you go back upstairs and put a towel on that wet head of yours." I rolled my eyes with a grin, "Mhm." I hummed, walking past him and the others to the SUV that was parked outside. Once we all got in the car, with Antony in the drivers seat, me in the passengers, and Tyler and Kevin in the back we began on our way to the city which was only about 10 minutes away at most. I remember passing it on the way into the woods surrounding kevins pack. When we got into the city Antony drove around a bit before stopping in front if a*****e called Men's Warehouse. "This place has some pretty nice suits." I commented as we started walking around the store. "Ehh." Kevin said making it obvious that he disagrees with my statement. I rolled my eyes ignoring him and went to go pick out a suit. After a few minutes of looking around my eyes settled on a light blue suit, it was so beautiful and it was the same shade as my eyes. "That suit's nice and it matches your eyes." I turned to Antony who had just said what I had been thinking when I had picked it up. I nodded and smiled, but my smile quickly turned into a frown when I noticed him without a suit. He was just casually leaning against a wall and watching me with mine, I don't even think he's tried looking for his yet. "What?" he questioned, noticing my frown. "Why aren't you looking for a suit?" "Oh, I already have one." he said nonchalantly. "What?" I asked with wide eyes, he chuckled and repeated what he had said. "I already have one, love." "So, why did you want to come then?" He sighed through his nose, "I actually didn't at first but I saw your cute little frown when Tyler was about to say no." I glared at him when he brought that up and all he did was laugh. He came up to me putting his hands on either side of my arms, "I figured you invited us all out for some type of "bonding" which was why I was going to say no but then I remembered how I promised you that I'd try getting along with him." I smiled at the mention of his promise. "Well this is me trying." he stated with a smile matching my own. "Thank you." I said and he leaned down kissing me on the forehead. He wasn't that much taller than me, maybe two or three inches but he was still tall enough to have to bend down. "No problem babe, now go try on that suit. Then, we can go to the mall for some real "bonding" time." he said with a wink. I rolled my eyes with a laugh before walking off towards the dressing rooms.
