The sound of running water wakes me up early in the morning. I turn over in bed, kicking the blanket from off my heated body.
As I sit up in the bed, stretching and letting out a satisfied groan when I feel my back pop.
The bathroom door opens revealing Tyler in nothing but a towel. He looked up to me and grinned, "Did ya sleep well sweetheart?" he teased as he slid his wet hair back with one of his hands.
"Shut up." I said, grabbing a pillow from off the bed and throwing it at him "And put some damn clothes on." the pillow hit him straight in the face and fell to the ground causing me to laugh at the face he was making.
He quickly picked the pillow up and threw it back but I dodged it just as fast, laughing even harder then before.
He rolled his eyes, sticking the finger at me as he walked into the closet to change and I got up from the warm bed, "Imma head to the kitchen!" I said, still laughing.
"Alright." he said walking out the closet with a pair of black warm ups and a plain light blue shirt as I left the room.
I walked down the stairs of the pack house, politely greeting every pack member I saw. When I got to the living room on the first floor I took a deep breath, sighing in content when I smelt freshly made coffee.
Thank god someone already made coffee because I have no clue how to make it myself.
I went into the kitchen and found a pot of hot coffee, I poured the coffee into a mug I found in the cabinet and began fixing it up with sugar and cream.
As I was mixing the sugar in cream into my coffee an amazing scent drifted into my nose, even better than the coffee I had in front of me.
Seconds later two large arms landing on the sides of me boxing me against the counter, I could feel the heat of his body against mine and I smiled knowing exactly who it was.
"Good morning." I greeted, continuing to stir my coffee. He wrapped his arms around my stomach before leaning closer and laying his head into my curls
"Morning love, did you sleep well?" he asked, his voice was groggy since he probably just woke up making him sound cute and sexy at the same time.
I grabbed my coffee and turned around in his arms so we were facing each other, once I was situated and facing him he tightened his embrace on me making my skin and insides feel all warm and fuzzy.
"Yep, how about you?" I asked, taking a sip of my coffee to try and hid the wide grin and blush on my face.
He moved his face deeper into my curls, "Would've been better if I had my mate with me." he grumbled out, teasingly rubbing his right hand up and down the side of my waist.
"Sorry about that, that was my fault." Tyler's voice said making me jump, I would've split my hot cup of coffee if it hadn't been for my amazing mate grabbing the cup from out my hands.
Antony let out a low growl as he set my cup back on the counter, I could feel him slightly pulling me closer as he stared menacingly at Tyler.
"I guess I should also apologize for that as well, right?" he said awkwardly and dispite not being able to see his expression I let out a giggle which surprised me, I don't giggle!
I could feel Antony's low chuckle rumble in his chest as well as against my head, is he laughing at my reaction to my own giggle? I thought with a slight pout.
"Are you pouting?" he questioned and I swear I could hear the stupid grin on his face as he said it.
"No." I said elbowing him in his side, he took his arms from around me and used his opposite arm to wrap around his body so that his hand was covering the side I had elbowed.
He groaned with a smirk on his face, which let me know that didn't actually hurt at all. I turned to Tyler rolling my eyes at Antony who was still hunched over pretending to be hurt, even though he was now laughing.
Tyler looked awkward as he stared over at the two of us, "Actually this is perfect timing." I said, walking up to Tyler.
I stood next to him and put my arm on his shoulder earning a growl from my mate in the process, which I ignored.
"Can you go wait in the dining hall for a sec?" I asked Tyler and he nodded his head before quickly leaving the room.
"You promised to try and get along with him." I said pointing to my mate who was leaning against the counter.
"Key word try " he said with a smirk that dropped after I gave him a look. "Okay okay, from now on I'll actually try and get along with him, alright." he said putting his hands up in surrender.
"Thank you." I replied as I walked up and wrapped my arms around his torso, he returned the embrace by putting his arms around my waist and his chin back on my head.
"I know it's hard for you to see me be so close with an unmated male, especially one that you don't know. But me and Tyler have been together since we were pups and for a long time after my parents died he was the only person I had to lean on." I mumbled into his chest, I could feel him tense at the mention of my parents being dead but I was grateful he didn't ask anything. I looked up to him, smiling when our eyes met, "I really appreciate you saying you'll try." I commented.
He tightened his hold on me, leaning down to give my a short but loving kiss on the lips, "Anything for you, love." he said returning the same smile I had given him seconds earlier.
We stood there for a few minutes just staring at each other before I cleared my throat backing away awkwardly, "Well we should go to the dining hall to eat breakfast." I said looking away as I could feel my face becoming way too heated.
He let out a chuckle and grabbed my hand. I looked down at our intertwined hands and then up to him. He had the most genuine and beautiful smile I'd ever seen as he looked down at me.
He leaned down and gave me a peck on the side of my head, "Let's go eat." he repeated and I nodded in agreement before following him to the dining hall.
Our hands stayed connected as we made our way there and didn't disconnect until we had to get our plates.
This is a nice feeling.
