He produced a motorcycle helmet that I hadn’t noticed he was hiding behind his back. It was about my size and solid black, with a small pink engraving that read “L.B.” The helmet also had little ears on top, which I found oddly cute
“That’s nice of you,” I said, a little bewildered. I didn’t have the time to question him about this; I just wanted to get away from Caleb, so I took the helmet from him.
