Inside of me, Alruna was delighted and wanted more. Telling myself she was the only one enflamed by the press of his lips, and ignoring the pounding of my heart, I listened intently to hear if Caleb had walked further into the apartment.
It sounded as though he stayed in the doorway, so I pulled back. At that moment, Kade snapped out of his shock and tried to deepen the kiss. I moved my chin down, separating our lips, and pressed my face to the curve of his neck, trying desperately to ignore the smell of his skin.
