Aljon kept giving me this little sharp stares followed by his cheeks turning red. Then he would turn away. It was adorable and I was so curious as to why he was giving me those looks.
"Penny for your thoughts, love?" I asked him a few minutes after we drove away from the beach. We had our meal and we went to see the waved one last time. He seemed satisfied because he had this calm smile on his face as he hooked his arm around mine.
"I'd be a millionaire of you gave me one every time," he said before he pursed his lips and looked ahead to the road.
"Try me," I told him.
I saw his face widen when he looked back at me. "Don't tell me my boyfriend is secretly a millionaire?!"
I laughed at that. He chuckled back then playfully punched my right arm.
