Screws and bolts in my head started turning. What this Beck was spouting shocked the heck out of me. I stared at him as if he was a fallen alien speaking the unknown language of the otherworld. When I realized what he was saying, I began to tussle against the binds on my arms and legs, trying to scuffle my way out.
“Back? What do mean back?!” I growled which was never like me and I did not realize that at that moment until much later. He sighed and didn’t give me an answer and so I yelled right on his face. Something in between the lines of what he said just touched my nerves in the wrong way.
