"I-I-It's a misunderstanding Ma'am! It's not just a misunderstanding! Because madam is a VIP of the shop and madam has been a customer at the shop for a long time so we gave her more attention. I think just what would be better in the shop, ma'am. Miss Allison is new so we didn't give her enough attention." Lea immediately explained that she was panicking.
He forced a smile to try to ease the tension building around him but it obviously had no effect because his face was obviously nervous as he looked at sister Eleanor.
Sister Eleanor's face scrunched up. She looked in disapproval at Lea after hearing what she said. "You think you have the right to discriminate against others for the shops benefit?" Sister Eleanor said displeasedly.
Lea couldn't find an answer and just bowed.
Sister Eleanor sneered as she looked at Lea in contempt.
"This is your last day to work here. I don't need a vain employee like you. Now, you may leave." She said without any emotion.
Lea was confused and immediately knelt in front of sister Eleanor. "Please, ma'am, don't fire me. I really need this job, ma'am, because I'm still teaching my brother. I'm the only one my family expects." He cries begging.
Sister Eleanor's expression did not change and she just remained coldly staring at the dying woman.
"You should've thought of the consequences on the things you've done. If this job is really important to you, you should have taken care of it and done your job well."
After sister Eleanor stated those words, Lea was rooted in her place with a daze expression. The tears also stopped flowing down his cheeks and he remained stunned by the emptiness. But after some time, regret was written all over her face.
It is already too late for her to regret.
Sister Eleanor's eyes turned to the woman who started to stir. "Ma'am, from now on you are no longer a VIP of this shop. I will revoke your VIP membership because you did not use it correctly. The purpose of the VIP membership is for the discount, not to do all the you want in our shop. In addition, you would be banned to all my shops including overseas." He seriously promised.
The woman could not believe what she heard. "You're going to cancel my VIP membership and ban me from all your shops just for that useless girl?!" He stood up to me. His eyes widened.
The color of sister Eleanor's eyes darkened and she stared intently at the woman. "Woman. I suggest you should be mindful of your words, 'cause you don't know who's your dealing with." There was a threat from sister Eleanor.
The woman laughed with disdain. "Why? Who is that ungrateful? Is she some sort of bigshot? Hah! Impossible! She's just an illusionary poor person who dreams of wearing something expensive!" This raised eyebrows.
"Ah! Oh, maybe you're defending him because you're afraid of the person behind him?" It adds that it seems sure-sure.
It turned to me. He looked at me from head to toe. "Well, looking at this sl*t and I can tell that she's been with many men. Her patron must be really powerful and influential to make even the heir of the Delgado's to stand up for her." He grinned.
I immediately understood what he was going for and my vision quickly darkened.
This old wench!
My body moved quickly and in the blink of an eye I was in front of the witch.
And in just a brief moment, my fist landed on her left cheek. He was immediately knocked out by the full force of the blow, he was not even able to react to the extreme speed of the events. Her back and head hit the wall hard and she immediately fainted. There is a crack in the roof where it splashed.
I don't use my palm to do slaps, I use my fist to punch.
"..."
There was only a deafening silence after that series of actions.
Others were unable to react due to the shock of what they witnessed. Their mouths just hung open as they stared at me.
I didn't pay attention to them and my expression remained cold. I just glanced at the passed out witch before I turned her away as well.
I didn't regret what I did as she deserves it. I'm not usually an impulsive person, but there is always a limit to a person's tolerance.
I can take as many curses you throw at me, or bad mouths against me, but the thing that I hated the most is insulting me with my chastity.
What I really don't like about everything is the one that questions and pollutes my entire personality as a woman.
"Allison..." I heard sister Eleanor call me when she got back to her judge. She looked at me with a complicated look.
His mouth opened but he immediately closed it.
I looked away and smiled at him. "I'll pay for the damage." I said awkwardly while scratching the bridge of my nose.
Welp. My punch got a little stronger...
Sister Eleanor shook her head at me and smiled at me helplessly. He signaled the two stunned security guards and they immediately returned to their trance then attended to the passed out woman.
While in the process, they can't help but to send me many glances, and their eyes were filled with respect and admiration.
"..." I can't help but to curl my lips upwards.
These two security guards are quite cute.
"Bring her to the hospital," sister Eleanor ordered here. The two security guards nodded. "Next, ma'am," they saluted. After which, they left while the other one was carrying the unconscious lady like a sack. The other security guard is supporting the fellow.
After they left, sister Eleanor switched her attention to the still daze Lea. Sister Eleanor couldn't help but be touched by her senses.
"I didn't think there was discrimination happening in this branch. Looks like I've been too lenient to have such an employee in my company..." Sister Eleanor frowned.
"I deeply apologize Miss Eleanor," suddenly said the manager who had been silent since Lea led him to speak earlier. "It's my own negligence. I did not manage my employee properly," she expresses her regret as she bows deeply to sister Eleanor. There was a hint of self-reproach in her voice.
Sister Eleanor nodded. "Mr. Your salary would be deducted for this trouble. Serve this as a lesson, and I hope there would be no next time." He has a cold attitude.
The manager nodded and again apologized to sister Eleanor and to me.
I just looked at her and didn't respond. Although, it was not directly her fault, as the manager she should've dealt the employees assigned to her accordingly, and this kind of issues could've been avoided.
Sister Eleanor turned in my direction. There was an apologetic smile on her pretty face. "I've wronged you."
I shook my head.
"It's nothing. I'm just really annoyed because they're just wasting my time with their words that don't make sense." I explain.
It was really the case. There are so many things that I could have done than wasting my time quarreling over such trivial things.
"Still, it's our fault that you had a bad experience at our shop," she said regrettably. "As a repayment. Lemme treat you to a restaurant since it's already time for lunch," she suggested. Still feeling guilty.
I quickly shook my head again. "No. It was really nothing—"
"I insist," she insisted. In his tone, it was obvious that he didn't want to hold back.
I didn't do anything but cry. It would be a pity if I will miss this opportunity to freeload. Hehehe.
Besides, he's insistent. She persuaded me strongly, so I 'reluctantly' agreed.
*Shrugs mentally*
Hehehehe.
We just went to a restaurant near the shop. Sister Eleanor chose a VIP room for the two of us. When it's time for us to order, there is only a small selection of foods. Although, as much as I wanted to order many dishes; I am not that thick-skinned to do that. Also, it would be rude of me to use my own money for the other dishes as sister Eleanor already proposed that it was on her.
"I heard from Avery that your appetite is 'quite' large. You don't have to restrain yourself, you can order as many as you want," sister Eleanor interjected, amusedly.
I turned to him. There was an amused smile on her beautiful face. "You sure?" I asked.
She chuckled, and then nodded. "Of course."
"Then I won't be polite anymore," after I said that, I added many dishes to my previous orders.
After the waiter got my order, he turned to sister Eleanor to get her order.
We saw sister Eleanor looking at me stupidly when we turned to her.
I looked at her confusedly. "Is there something wrong?"
"Oh?" He came back to himself when he heard my question. "Are you really sure you can finish all those foods?" He couldn't believe his question. His eyes widened.
Without hesitation, I nodded to his question. "Why? Well, I can pay it if its—"
"No. No. No. It's fine." She immediately cut my words. "I was just surprised," he laughed and shook his head.
I just nodded. Why was she surprised though? She said she already knows my legendary appetite, then what's to be surprised?
After my sister Eleanor ordered, we waited for several hours because of the number of orders I chose before the food we ordered arrived.
We just talked about some trivial things while eating. She said she'll just give me the painite necklace as a compensation gift, but I declined. I insisted that I want to buy it and she has no choice but to give in.
The foods are more than enough, already. Also, I really didn't care much about what happened earlier. Those were just insignificant moments of my life that would be completely forgotten over the passage of time.
However, that doesn't mean I would let that woman off. I am not a good person, I hold grudges.
As time passes by, we gradually forget about the unconscious woman who was sent to the hospital.
