These kind of people are the pollutions of society. Who finds pleasure by degrading, and looking down on others. Who felt they're superior just because they're wealthy and had status.
So what, if you have little power?
So what, if you're filthy rich?
So what, if you have many properties?
Still in the end. We'll go in the same direction.
We all d!e.
And that you can't even bring those worldly goods you possessed in the after life.
We're all the same. Working hard to fill our stomach. To fulfill our daily necessities.
There's really no need to belittle others just because they're not as successful as you. What's the point? Just to brag what you achieved? Pathetic.
I can't help but feel disgusted. I really don't have time dealing with this kind of people. I have little patience for such things. I would rather hang out with street bums than associate with such a proud person.
Thank you It's my misfortune encountering such a trashy person.
"Hey, you ghost," I called the woman whose face was too white due to the thick powder of her make-up. His eyes widened and he looked at me in disbelief because I called him.
"Are you sure you're not referring to yourself? With that white face of yours, you look more down-to-earth than me despite the glittering jewelries on your body. And the foul stench you are currently spreading. Is like those who lived in a nasty environment." I returned because I was so annoyed with him.
I was just silently doing my business, but this trash of a woman was constantly challenging my bottom line.
I wouldn't insult others if they didn't insult me first. But she just has to step on my boundary.
"How dare you?! You have no manners! Didn't your parents teach you how to respect your elders?!" He yelled at me while he poked me. His face was red as his eyes glared at me.
I laughed out loud. "You want respect? Heh. The question is, do you want respect?"
The nerve of her to talk about respect. Respect should be replicated. You need to know how to respect others first to earn respect from others.
Just like what the Golden Rule says: Don't do unto others what you don't want others do unto you.
Then he will be angry now? Didn't he think how I would feel when he insulted me?
"Ingrata! Do you know who I am? Do you think you can handle me? Get rid of this influence because I will never buy from your shop!" His loss. The security guards quickly intervened just as he was about to attack me.
"Calm down ladies. You know the rules here. Don't make trouble because we will be forced to let you out of here." Stopped by a security guard. They seem to have a hard time stopping the woman because she seems to be influenced and they are afraid to force her.
The woman violently threw away her two arms from the grip of the two security guards on her.
"What? Is it still my fault? I'm the one who insulted me and you're still criticizing me? You're telling me that I'm the victim? Is it because of the looks of that girl that you're tolerating this kind of behavior?" He made this promise and then looked at me intently. Her eyes are filled with loathing, hate, and jealousy.
I looked at him in disbelief. What does my face have to do with this issue? Well she was the one who's acting like a shrew.
What kind of logic is this?
The staff who supported the woman attended immediately. It worriedly supported the woman then violently looked in my direction and glared at me. He heaps his annoyance on me.
"Can you please apologize to madam Miss. You are the one to blame because you are forcing yourself into something that you are not sure you can buy. You also have no right to insult madam because she is only telling the truth about you. If you don't want to apologize, we won't force you. Please leave our shop." It has an angry attitude towards me.
It was obvious that he was not really worried about the girl. All he was worried about was the money he would receive. Because when the woman gets angry, she most likely won't buy. So, he will not get his commission.
I raised an eyebrow at him when I heard what he said. "Why would I apologize to her? Why, did she apologize when she insulted me? You as an employee, even tolerated her bad behavior, and allowed her to do as she pleased which is against your company's ethics. You already failed to do your job properly." I answered him.
I don't think I'm in the wrong here. If they think I can be easily bullied, then they made a big mistake.
The staff's face crumpled and looked at me even worse. "Guards! Get rid of that female thief! She can't afford to buy so she's trying to steal." He invented a story just to get me out of here.
The two security guards just looked at each other but did not move. They witnessed the whole incident and they are not blind to not know who is really at fault.
I wonder how this company screens its employees? To have such an incompetent worker?
Mari, who had been silent before, suddenly spoke. "Lea, stop it, you're doing it wrong. You're breaking the rules of our company. Why are you firing Miss Allison, she's the one who got the job. Miss Allison was the first to choose—"
"Shut up Mari! You're new so you don't know anything!" Lea immediately interrupted Mari's words.
All of a sudden, there was a voice that suddenly butted in.
"Lea? Mari? What's going on here?"
We all turned to the source of the voice. An elegant woman walked towards us. He frowned looking at Mari and Lea.
"Manager! The girl is the problem!" Suddenly the woman with thick make-up responded while pointing at me. "I was just shopping for jewelry here but he suddenly insulted me and he really planned to buy the painite necklace. He can't even buy proper clothes for himself! Maybe he really plans to steal!" He accused me.
My eyes narrowed but I chose not to say anything. If this shop's service is really bad, I won't buy it anymore. I don't want to waste my time and prolong this trivial issue.
I don't care what they think about me. Their opinions don't matter, but my time is precious.
The manager frowned even more and then turned to me.
I didn't see any judgment or disdain in his expression, he just looked at me calmly.
"Miss, is this lady telling the truth?" She asked me.
I sighed. "I never said I can't afford buying that necklace. It was her who assumed it. And to make it clear, she was the one who insulted me first, I just defended myself. However, if this is the kind of service I'm receiving from this so-called fair shop, then I'm not buying anymore. I don't want to waste my money with this kind of service." I answered bluntly with a hint of annoyance in my voice.
I was about to leave when the woman with thick make-up suddenly grabbed my arm to stop me. As soon as my arm was squeezed away from his grasp, I stared at him intently.
My eyes were bone-chilling cold.
"Touch me again, and I'll make sure your hand is broken," I threatened.
His face was full of fear when he realized I was serious. He retreated.
Tch. I had enough of this sh*t!
I walked towards the entrance again when I suddenly saw a familiar woman enter. And when our eyes met, he looked at me in shock.
"Allison?" This call surprised me. His voice echoed inside the shop and the people there were stunned.
I nodded to him as a form of acknowledgment.
"Hi," I greeted.
She was Eleanor Delgado—the eldest daughter of Aunt Elise. I just saw her once at the birthday banquet of the Old Ferguson. We really didn't interact that much at that time, we just shared some pleasantries.
He smiled. "It's a pleasant surprise seeing you here. Are you here to buy some jewelry?" he asked.
I nodded and shook my head. "Yes, before, but not this time. The ethics of this shop that they promote was all a lie. I suggest you don't buy from this shop." I answered his question.
I saw if he looked offended by what I said. "W-what?"
I wondered. Did I say something wrong?
He suddenly turned to the manager. She looked serious as she squinted her eyes at the former.
"What's the meaning of this?" He asked the manager sternly. Her voice was full of threat, and inquiry.
The previously calm face of the female manager is now nervously looking at sister Eleanor. The faces of the others also turned pale, especially the one called Lea.
Seeing their reactions, I think I already know why they are behaving like that.
