Chapter 17

When I finally got out of the dark alley I saw Logan standing by the pole, waiting for me. I walked towards where he was, but when I got close to him I just passed him and ignored him. I could feel if he was stunned when I passed him but I just ignored it and continued walking. Who is he for me to follow? We're not close. As I walked I felt him follow me until he was next to me. "Where are you going?" I heard his deep voice next to me. I just frowned and didn't look at him. I walked even faster and took big steps to catch up with him. I also felt that he also increased his steps and after a while he was able to catch up with me. My face couldn't be painted with wrinkles and I suddenly stopped. He took a few more steps before he also stopped then he turned to me from the front. There is still no change in his face and it is still emotionless which is a big contrast to the wrinkled face. "It's your problem?" Irritated if he is bored and looked at badly. He turned to face me and looked at me calmly. "Nothing," he replied. Abat— I felt the vain on my forehead bulge with his indifferent response. I took a deep breath to calm myself down. My anger can't do anything when it's piled on my rock. Aggressive waves are useless on a firm rock. "What do you really need?" I asked blandly. Then he looked lazily. "You," he directly answered. His face stiff as always. My eyes widened slightly because I didn't expect his answer, "...w-what?" "Grandpa ordered me to look for you," he clarified. I stared at him, and gave him a deadpanned look. 'That's all? Alas. Why can't he just say it directly, he knows a lot more. Thank you I can't help but be miserable. When I thought about it, I turned my attention back to him. "Why didn't you just call me? Do you really need to come see me?" I asked when I realized that. He answered immediately. "Your phone's cannot be reached." "..." Well, right. I turned off my cellphone earlier... "Then, is there a need for you to personally meet me? Why didn't you just order someone to inform me?" I asked again. I just don't understand. He was the one who wanted me far away from him, but now he was standing right in front of me, close to me. What's more, I cannot see the dislike look in his eyes he had before whenever I was near. And strangely enough, he's talking to me in an abnormally calm manner which is a huge contrast to the usual cold-shoulder and alienation he always gave me. Shouldn't he be unwilling to follow his grandfather's order? Shouldn't he be ignoring me like he used to? It was like he was a completely different person from the Logan I used to know... Although, he still had that iconic unbothered look of him. Well, it's been more than three years. As life goes on, people change, just like the weather. Perhaps, he changed like me, or he just doesn't really care at all. Either way, it doesn't really matter. It's none of my concern. He looked at me when he heard the next question. His cold black orbs looking at me intently. "Is there any difference whether it's me or someone who'll inform you?" He replied seriously. I can't answer. Anyway... I cleared my throat. "Right now?" I'm different from the conversation. He nodded and gave a soft 'hmm'. I gave him a look. Implying him to lead the way. "Do you know where's the bus stop?" He asked suddenly. "Huh?" I wonder if it's a reaction. "Why?" I was confused looking at him. "I didn't bring any transportation," he replied nonchalantly. I was surprised by his answer. "What? Then how did you get here?" "Using my feet." "..." My eye twitched. This guy... really. I sighed. "Why don't we hail a taxi so we can get to your house quickly?" I suggest. "No. I don't like the smell inside," he immediately answered. "..." I sighed. "Tsk. Follow me," I just said. Not bothering to argue with him anymore. My saliva is just wasted on this stone. Tch. We reached the bus stop and there weren't many people waiting there. It's not rush hour yet so there aren't too many people. I could feel the looks that our companions were giving me at the bus stop but I just ignored it. "Sh*t. The guy's fat," I heard a woman whisper not far from where I was standing. "No, the tip of the nose is still sharp," a woman answered. "Look at that jaw, it's sharp, sh*t." "He's still very tall." "You think he can reach the roof of this waiting shed?" "I don't know. You can ask." "Never mind. I'll just ask for sss acc. and IG." "Gàga. Take that. Look at the very beautiful woman next to him, do you think there is hope for those of us who only have faces?" "Why? Is that his girlfriend?" "B*bo. Isn't it obvious? They wear the same style, they're wearing a couple outfit, beh. It's natural to be jowa." "I didn't say anything to my jojowain huh?" "Even if you have a plan, you can't hope because Pogi looks stuck." "Shut up." "..." I was almost drooling because of what they were talking about. It's not just a misunderstanding. We are not like that. It's just a coincidence that we're wearing the same clothes. I simply glanced at the person next to me. His face remained emotionless as if he didn't hear the whispers around me. We were still mistaken for being in a relationship. Thank you I didn't take what I was hearing seriously anymore and just let it out of my other mouth. Anyways, those are not true. Just in time, a bus stopped and there weren't many people inside so we got on. I chose the one with the front seat—it's only two-seaters. When I sat down, someone immediately sat next to me, so I looked at him. It was Logan. His head is slightly bowed because he is so tall. After he sat down, the two-seater that we were sitting on suddenly became cramped. Our shoulders pressed together due to lack of space. He was tall and had a lean muscular build. So it seems like this seat is too small compared to him. He put an airpods on his both ears then put the hood on, and closed his eyes. I averted my gaze and moved a little closer to the window, but even though I moved further, our shoulders still touched. I sighed and looked out the window. We were quiet and in our own world when the bus suddenly stopped because someone wanted to get on. My attention remained only outside the window until it started working again. We pass almost only trees and you will not see a single establishment or house. The place here is obviously private property. I was still absentmindedly looking at the passing scenery outside of the bus window when suddenly there was a commotion happening inside. "Take out all your money! But I'll blow it up!" I heard a man threatening me from behind where I was sitting. The people inside gasped loudly. I couldn't help but feel bad in my mind. Why do I feel unlucky today? I bumped into a bunch of assholes earlier; then right after this stone-faced möron beside me, and now a thüg? Are you serious? Suddenly, the bus we were riding started screaming because the driver lost control of the steering wheel. The people on board screamed loudly because of fear. Heard the holdaper's hard mur as well. "F*ta! Stop it!" It yelled at the driver. Moments later, the bus stopped driving violently. I almost hit the small pole in front of me. It's good that my body is balanced right away. I turned to the person next to me and he still closed his eyes as if nothing had happened. "..." "Get out of here! You really intend to kill me you gag*!" It was seen that the holdaper approached the driver in front of him in a hostile manner at the same time he hit him hard on the head. Unexpectedly, it was the one who just rode on the bus. The driver did not fight back and just let the holdaper beat him. "You want me to break your head! B*wesít!" He screamed furiously at the same time he pointed the gun he was holding at the driver's head. The driver turned pale. "N-don't! N-don't! I-it-this take all the money here don't just kill me... I still have a family waiting for me..." The driver's trembling plea, he was almost crying because of fear. Silence reigned inside the bus. Afraid that they might get the holdaper's attention and their own safety will be at risk. The holdaper quickly took all the money from the container. "You're scared," he grinned and feared that he would hit the driver again. The driver protected his head in fear. "Huh." Then the holdaper turned in our direction. "Take all your things out if you don't comply..." He grinned foolishly and proceeded to cut his neck. No one complained so the holdaper started collecting the items and money that others had taken out. Since we were sitting on the other side, it immediately reached where we were. It violently presented the heel it was carrying in front of us. Neither of us moved. He still closed his eyes next to me and I just looked at him lazily. For a moment, I glanced at the gun he was holding and then I smirked. The gun's fake. Thank you He got annoyed with the way we both acted and then angrily pointed the fake gun at our faces. "You're going to take out your things or I'm going to put a bullet in your head?!" It shouted angrily while looking at us with a threat. I ignored his empty threats and continued to look at him unconcerned. My eyes are cold while staring at him. I honestly am too lazy to bother with this i***t. I don't have the patience to do so. He became even more angry and his face heated up when he noticed that his threats had no effect. He looked at me evilly, "what do you think you are a woman!" He screamed at the same time as he was about to hit me with the fake gun he was holding when suddenly a hand stopped it.
